Tommy Fury has delighted fans by announcing a brand-new career venture.

The professional boxer and former Love Island finalist, 24, has penned a tell-all book and is now a published author. Tommy is following in his fiancée Molly-Mae Hauge's footsteps after the influencer published her first book, Becoming Molly-Mae, back in 2022.

And Tommy's future wife couldn't be more proud of him following his huge career announcement. Sharing the exciting news on his Instagram on Tuesday, Tommy shared a video which saw him documenting the creative process behind his brand new book.

“I’m proud to announce… I have written my first book," he wrote. “Find out what my life is like juggling many identities: A professional boxer, TV star, mental health advocate, fiancé and father. Coming this October, but available to pre-order now… link on my story.”

Tommy's bride-to-be was quick to share her support as she flocked to the comments section to write: "So proud of you." Tommy’s first book is titled: Lightning Can Strike Twice, My Life As A Fury.

Tommy's exciting career news comes after Molly-Mae candidly opened up about a struggle that rocked their relationship. The 24-year-old reality star has been engaged to fellow Love Island alum Tommy - who she met on the show in 2019 - since July last year and they also share a one-year-old daughter named Bambi together.

Last year, their happy romance appeared to be rocked as Molly-Mae was snapped without her engagement ring on after Tommy had been spotted partying in Dubai with controversial rapped Chris Brown.

Molly-Mae was said to be ‘mortified’ over Tommy’s partying ways and was snapped without her dazzling engagement ring on a number of occasions. But more recently, the pair had looked as loved up as ever - and marked their daughter’s first birthday with a lavish celebration in January.

Last month, Molly-Mae hinted that her relationship with Tommy really was in trouble last year. However, she has explained that it was the fact he needed surgery on his hand that caused an issue - with the injury affecting his boxing career.

Speaking in a YouTube video, the couple candidly addressed their relationship blip. Molly-Mae explained: “You've been going through recently haven't you [Tommy]. Tommy's had surgery on his hand, he has needed this surgery for as long as we can remember, 2019.

"He had this injury that no one knew about. He didn't share it with anyone and even with training through the Jake Paul stuff, I wrote a caption on Instagram saying like ‘We went through some really hard times as a family’ and I feel like the injury was just always causing us so many problems and was always there, but we never spoke about it.”

She added: “Anyway I'm very proud of you for deciding to get the operation but I didn't think we realised the kind of impact it was going to have on our everyday life, him not having his right hand.”
