CBB fans question missing scenes after Sharon's confession about Nikita
Celebrity Big Brother fans have been left confused by comments by Sharon Osbourne backing Nikita Kuzmin to win the show.
The 71-year-old former X Factor judge was the ‘celebrity houseguest’ on the 2024 season of ITV’s revived version of Celebrity Big Brother. She was granted her own sleeping quarters during her time in the house - but only stayed for a limited time, leaving during the live eviction on Tuesday night.
When Sharon first entered the house, she had to pick three fellow new entrants that she considered to make the worst first impression - with one of them going on to then face the public vote. And in a callback to this moment, Big Brother requested that Sharon reveal which housemates had made the best lasting impression during her time in the house.
She selected 26-year-old Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita - along with 65-year-old businessman Levi Roots. But Sharon’s choices sparked a mixed reaction from fans - with many left confused as to why she would pick Nikita as her most impactful housemate.
The reason for the confusion stemmed from the fact that Nikita has been granted hardly any airtime on the show. One viewer wrote on X: “Nikita?? that man is as boring as paint drying, he can’t win! He’s barely on the highlights shows!” And another wrote: “Nikita seems like a great guy but we’ve not seen anything from him this series at all.”
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesA further fan complained: “Gosh I hope Nikita doesn’t win , he’s a good guy but really not that entertaining … #CBBUK." But others were thrilled to see Sharon back their favourite - with one writing: "Sharon saying she wants Nikita to win omg im going to cry #CBBUK."
Other fans feared Big Brother could create an unexpected consequence to Sharon’s selections. One fan wrote: "the missed opportunity to make nikita and levi face eviction lol #CBBUK." But another, more optimistic fan, wrote: “Is it too obvious to think that they’re going to give Levi and Nikita a pass to the final? #CBBUK."
Sharon’s exit came after reports speculated she would leave on Tuesday night - after initial reports suggested she would be in the house for only five days.
“Tuesday will be Sharon's last day in the Celebrity Big Brother house," a source close to the show told MailOnline. "She had made it clear from the beginning that she was only staying on the show for a short duration but she has certainly made an long-lasting impact. As always, family comes first and Sharon needs to be back with her husband Ozzy but she will be missed by her housemates, especially as they say goodbye to another celebrity during tonight's eviction."
Celebrity Big Brother is set to introduce more shocks this week as the remaining housemates are set to set through their next round of nominations in a face-to-face environment. While show hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best confirmed the next eviction would be a double eviction.
