Donald Trump 'put two pro golfers to shame' as LIV event at course looms
Donald Trump's skills on the golf course are so great that he beat two professionals... if a former White House aide is to be believed.
Brian Jack, the former aide running for a seat in the United States Congress, claimed during a rally that the former president outplayed said golfers, though elected not to share who they were.
"I'm not sure if I should say this," Jack said to a crowd in Georgia. "But just a few weeks ago, President Trump put to shame two professional golfers. I ain't gonna mention their names, but just know he shot a 70 on 18 holes."
Though Jack did not specify which course Trump beat the two professionals on, the 77-year-old does spend ample time on the links, working on his golfing abilities. That much was clear in 2023, when Trump claimed on social media that he had won the Senior Club Championship at his club in New Jersey and claimed he shot a 67.

"I am pleased to report, for those that care, that I just won the Senior Club Championship (must be over 50 years old!) at Bedminster (Trump National Golf Club), shooting a round of 67," Trump said. "Now, some people will think that sounds low, but there is no hanky/lanky.
"Many people watch, plus I am surrounded by Secret Service Agents. Not much you can do even if you wanted to, and I don't... For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete - I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honour!"
If the 77-year-old's claim of shooting a 67 were true, that would have been better than 47 of the 48 LIV Golf scores that were put up in the final round on the same course two weeks before Trump's win, Mediaite.com.

LIV Golf star Caleb Surratt recently played a round with the former United States president and was impressed by how well he played, even at his advanced age.
At one point, Surratt posted a video of Trump getting a ball close to the pin on a par-three hole and the 20-year-old golfer, who is a member of Jon Rahm's Legion XIII team, could not help but gush over the fact that he was able to play golf with the ex-president.
"Unreal day and such a cool moment to be able to play with 45," Surratt said in a photo as he stood next to Trump. In another post featuring Surratt and Trump smiling together, the young golfer simply captioned it: "Thank you for all you have done."
Of note, LIV Golf's next tournament in Miami will be held at a golf course owned by Trump. Additionally, Grammy-winning musician Akon will be performing at the tournament, closing out the second day of festivities.
"We’re excited to once again deliver a memorable golf experience with an incredible music act for South Florida fans," Troy Tutt, LIV's senior vice president of ticketing and hospitality said in a statement. "Akon is sure to put on a show and add to a thrilling weekend featuring top competition and entertainment in Miami."
If fans are not inclined to watch Akon, the former president's golf skills could be on full display at his golf course.
