Sharon Osbourne has opened up on her weight loss journey after losing 42lbs on Ozempic.

The Celebrity Big Brother star spoke about her battle with weight loss with housemates Colson Smith, Louis Walsh and David Potts. Coronation Street star Colson admitted he struggled with binge eating after losing weight aged 18 through a strict diet.

He said: “I wouldn’t eat for a day and a half. I'd just starve myself and then I’d be that hungry that I would like," as Sharon added: “The floodgates would burst.”

Colson explained : “I used to drive to KFC and I used to order three meals and then I would hate myself so I wouldn’t eat again for a day and a half and it would be that for months and months and months," as Sharon remarked: "Rollercoaster"

Sharon continued: “You know people who don’t have to worry about their weight, they have no idea how hard it is… it's a killer,” as Louis asked: “You lost an awful lot Sharon, how much did you lose?”

Sharon said: "At one point I was 230." Colson added: “I am glad that I've done what I've done the way that I've done it and like I have the level of control that I've got, because it's like I have a discipline but then I also understand myself”

Previously opening up on her weight loss journey, Sharon revealed she lost 42lbs on weight loss and diabetes drug Ozempic. Speaking to Woman magazine, Sharon said: "I started using it in November last year. I was 142lb [10st 2lb] when I started using it. For the first two or three weeks I felt very nauseous.

"The nausea went away, but once you’re on it you don’t feel hungry and you don’t eat. It’s not talked about but you can get a blockage in your bowel. I haven’t been on it for three or four months. My weight has stabilised. I went down to about 97lb [6st 13lb] and it was like, "Oh no." I needed to put some weight back on, which I have."

Sharon shared her concerns about Ozempic to Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway during an appearance on Good Morning Britain. "It does what it says on the packet, it absolutely does. But my only fear is that it is put in the right hands. I don't think it's for teenagers at all," she said.

"I'm scared for 16 to 20-year-olds. It's easy to say; "This is it, I can eat what I want and keep taking this injection. I think it needs to be in the hands of older people that totally understand that there can be side effects to this. I don't want young girls because the world we live in today everyone wants to be skinny."

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
