Notes from the Arsenal dressing room sharing 'How playing at the Emirates makes them feel' have been revealed online, with the idea gaining support from the club's fanbase.

The Gunners have made the Emirates a fortress since the start of last season, losing just three times in 33 Premier League matches. They boast the second-best home record with 11 wins and two draws in 14 games in the top-flight this term and the Arsenal fans have often helped the team get over the line.

And now a photo has been shared online of the Gunners players revealing their emotions when playing at home - and it's no surprise that all of the words were positive.

An image, which was posted by a supporter, showed a tactics board with the Arsenal stars writing one word to sum up how they feel playing at the Emirates, alongside their initials and squad number.

The word 'excited' was written by four players, including William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli, while 'confident' and 'magical' were among the other words used by the Arsenal stars.

Bukayo Saka described the feeling as 'special', Kai Havertz admitted he has 'enjoyment' from playing at the Emirates and Reiss Nelson claimed he is 'proud' to call it his home ground.

First-choice goalkeeper David Raya, who has impressed since his season-long loan move from Brentford, wrote 'confident', Oleksandr Zinchenko put 'pleasure' and Eddie Nketiah said 'happy'.

Thomas Partey went for 'good', Emile Smith Rowe opted for 'powerful', Ben White chose 'privileged' and captain Martin Odegaard decided to go for 'love'.

The idea has been praised by the Arsenal supporters. One said: "I think Arteta has done much to the mentality aspect than the actual footballing of the team." A second admitted: "Love their answers." Another claimed: "That's the spirit, my players." A fourth simply said: "I love this team."

Arsenal secured their eighth successive Premier League victory after they earned a 2-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday. Kai Havertz scored the winner in the 86th minute after Yoane Wissa had cancelled out a fine opener from Declan Rice. It wasn't the most vintage performance from the Gunners, but they got the job done.

Reflecting on the win, Arteta said: "It felt great, obviously we had to dig in and earn the right to win it, but I'm really pleased with the performance, the maturity, the emotional control that we showed, and how we overcame difficulties. If you want to be up there, you have to win these types of games and the team showed that it has the tools and especially the determination, and the belief to do so."

Following Sunday's 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester City, the Gunners sit at the top of the table and are not back in Premier League action until they travel to the Etihad later this month.
