Adult star Sophia Leone's death 'investigated as homicide' after 'home invasion'
Adult actress Sophia Leone reportedly died in a "home invasion" as her modelling agent claims cops are investigating "homicide".
The Miami-based porn star was found dead in her home on March 1, aged just 26. Her stepdad Mike Romero said police were investigating her sudden passing, but now her agent appears to have revealed more about the star's tragic cause of death.
Fans had flocked to X, formally Twitter, asking questions after Sophia's shock death was announced, with one probing: "How did she die?" Her representatives from 101 Modeling revealed: "It is being investigated as a home invasion homicide."

Her agent claims there was a 'home invasion' (X)They'd previously posted a tribute to Sophia, writing: "Our hearts are broken by the untimely and tragic passing of our beloved Sophia Leone. A beautiful spirit who touched many of us. RIP sweet angel and know how much we loved you."

Her stepfather Mike was first to reveal her tragic passing and penned a message on a GoFundMe memorial page, he wrote: "On behalf of her mother and family, it is with a heavy heart that I have to share the news of our beloved Sophia’s Passing. The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and in shock."
"Sophia was found unresponsive in her apartment home on March 1st, 2024 by her family. A investigation by local Police into the cause of death is still currently on going," he added. He also described her as a "beloved daughter, sister, grand daughter, niece and friend" and described her "deep love for animals," including her three pets.

He added: "She enjoyed traveling and always found ways to make everyone around her smile." The sex icon had lasted uploaded to her Instagram, which has nearly 300k followers, only a week ago.
A fellow adult star, Dharma Louise Jones, paid tribute on X. She wrote: "RIP Sophia...she was one of the 1st people I met in the industry when I was new. We were staying at the same model house & I was having trouble falling asleep because of anxiety. I remember we stayed up & talked all night. I’ll never forget her kindness."
It comes just days after updates on porn star Emily Willis reveal she has been fighting for her life on a ventilator after she was rushed to the hospital on February 5. It was alleged at the time that it might've been due to an overdose, her family claims that isn't the case.
Her younger brother Michael created a GoFundMe page on which he explained that reports of an overdose are "are not accurate as far the doctors and my family know." Her father also recently told TMZ that she was in rehab and that there had been no traces of drugs in her system when she was hospitalised.
