Britney Spears poses in hot pink bikini as she compares herself to Katie Holmes
Britney Spears has showcased her toned physique while posing in a vibrant pink bikini.
The chart-topping star was seen relaxing by the pool in her latest Instagram upload as she lay on a lounger topping up her tan. She wore her long blonde hair loose and in her trademark crimped waves as she posed for her fans. Britney, 42, drew comparisons between herself and Hollywood star Katie Holmes as she captioned the post.
She wrote: "My first high waisted bathing suit… Feeling very Katie Holmes today!!! Ps sun's out buns out !!!" Britney used the soundtrack of Beyonce's new country track Texas Hold 'Em for the clip as she shared a series of images, donning a pink and green striped hat in another set of pictures.

The post comes after her ex-husband Sam Asghari revealed why it was they decided to separate after simply "growing apart".

He had nothing but kind words to say about his ex-wife as he explained: "It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on." Speaking to People magazine, Sam said he will never say anything bad about his relationship with Britney. He explained: "I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other.
"That's something I'm never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that's always going to be part of my life, a chapter of my life." Sam filed for divorce from Britney citing "irreconcilable differences".

"As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together," she said. "6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I'm a little shocked but … I'm not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn't take the pain anymore honestly !!!"
Britney thanked fans for their support and added: "I've been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that. I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I've always had to hide my weaknesses !!!
"If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!! But that's when I needed family the most !!! You're supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!! So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I'm actually doing pretty damn good !!!"
