Love Island's Millie Court left devastated by Liam Reardon 'perfect match' swipe
Love Island winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon did a 'compatibility test' together recently but the results left the couple visibly disappointed.
Millie, 27, and Liam, 24 - who met on the ITV2 show in 2021 - teamed up with confectionery brand Cadbury to promote Creme Egg on Instagram this weekend ahead of Easter. They shared a paid partnership post with fans on Saturday.
It showed the couple tucking into the chocolate product before doing a 'compatibility test' to each discover their "perfect match". There was some disagreement between the pair over how to eat a Creme Egg in the recent video. Liam appeared to eat his egg in two bites. Millie said to him: "You've literally eaten that so quickly. You've eaten it wrong." He however responded: "Wrong? How can you eat a Creme Egg wrong? [Your method] takes too much time - I need to eat mine and get it in my belly as soon as possible."
They then looked at the brand's compatibility test, which was unveiled for Valentine's Day last month. Liam read out the description for people who eat the egg in two bites. It suggested: "You get things done. You thrive on an away day but need someone who doesn't mind when you forget their birthday".
Millie reacted: "If you forgot my birthday I would be fuming." Liam questioned if that would be the case but agreed with his partner's assessment of herself. He was heard saying in the clip: "Would you? Yeah you would, you would."
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelHe later shared the test's answer for his "perfect match". Liam said that, according to the confectionery brand, he's best suited to someone who "scoops the goo out with their finger". Millie seemed horrified and Liam said about the result: "Don't think we're a perfect match then obviously."
Millie didn't share her own method, or the accompanying description, but did reveal that the test had deduced that her "perfect match eats theirs in two bites," like Liam does. The reality TV star seemed excited by the result initially. She said: "No way! Oh my god, so wait ... you're my match, but I'm not yours'?" Millie seemed deflated, with her mood mirrored by Liam. She asked: "What does that mean?" Liam teased: "See you later honey." They however came together to feed each other a Creme Egg at the end of the video.
Although Millie didn't provide the demographic that she fell into, based on Cadbury's own post about its test she must have described herself as someone who "sucks the goo out like an oyster". Alongside those who "scoop the goo out with their finger," this was the method that was given to "someone who eats theirs' in two bites" as their "perfect match".
The video was shared in a joint post on Instagram earlier. They wrote: "Are we compatible? You can find out if you're the perfect match for someone by taking the @cadburyuk Creme Egg compatibility test over on their [page]."
They continued: "They taste so good that Liam doesn't like to waste no time #AD #CremeEgg #HowDoYouEatYours *The Cadbury Creme Egg personality and compatibility tests are for entertainment purposes only."
