Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s little girl Bambi has reached a huge milestone.

The former Love Island star welcomed her first child in January 2023, almost four years after meeting boxer Tommy on the show. Since Bambi’s birth, doting mum Molly-Mae has shared plenty of motherhood updates with fans, and on Saturday, confirmed her first born could now stand unaided.

Posting a photo of Bambi standing up while holding a wooden spoon, Molly-Mae wrote on Instagram: “Finally, standing without holding on. Someone told me to put a wooden spoon in her hand, it worked!”

Although it’s not clear who gave Molly-Mae the tip, a poster on Mumsnet recently wrote: “Have you tried the wooden spoon trick? You give him the spoon handle to walk with instead of your hand, and you hold the other end, then when he's not looking you let go of your end. I've never tried it but a friend said it works!” It certainly did for little Bambi!

There's still time to treat your mum with a special gift for Mother's Day

The tot’s huge milestone comes after Molly-Mae revealed she and Tommy had also named her something very different. During a recent question-and-answer with her online followers, the influencer was asked what name she had considered for her children but ultimately didn't end up using. In view of her 7.9 million followers, the 24-year-old opened up about her decision.

"At the moment I'm obsessed with the baby girl name 'Brandy'," she said, adding: "Would never use it because it is too similar to Bambi but I think it's very cute/cool. Any individual/quirky names I just love. Also I think boys names are SO hard. I genuinely don’t have one name that I love for the future if we needed one."

Meanwhile, another fan asked Molly how she was coping with motherhood as her daughter approaches becoming a toddler. She responded: "I wouldn't say she's a proper toddler yet but honestly motherhood now is everything I dreamt it would be. I can see it just getting better and better too. The older she gets the more amazing each day is.

"The first 6 months for me was the biggest challenge ever but now I feel very in control and happy. So many people used to say to me 'It only gets worse, it only gets harder' etc and it literally used to terrify me because I was really struggling... But for me personally it's just getting more incredible each day."
