Celebrity Big Brother fans have vowed to start a GoFundMe money-raising account to help ITV keep paying Sharon Osbourne to stay on the show.

The iconic reality show has been revived by ITV this year - after being cancelled by Channel 5 back in 2018. The returning show has been a smash hit with reality TV fans - with the star booking Sharon, 71, pulling in plenty of viewers and causing lots of attention-grabbing drama.

Reports have suggested that Sharon has been paid an astonishing £100,000 per day to appear on the show - with reports also saying she will only stay in the house for the first five days of the social experiment. During her time on the show so far she has slated fellow celebrities including James Corden, Adele and Simon Cowell - leaving viewers gagging for more scandal.

On Friday night, Gary Goldsmith became the first contestant to be formally voted out of the house - but many fans have taken to social media to express their concern over the fact that Sharon will be leaving soon herself. One fan has vowed to start a crowdfunding movement in order to raise money to gift to ITV to keep paying her to feature on the show - with many supporting the idea.

The fan wrote on X: “We can't let Sharon leave! Does anyone want to start a gofundme so ITV can keep her in??” Another wrote: "Pay Sharon whatever she wants. She is TV Gold and cannot leave!!! @CBBUK #CBBUK #SpillMoreTeaPlease."

Others are concerned that Sharon's contracted stay in the house should soon be over. One wrote online: "When is Sharon leaving? cause she’s done her 5 days now so do we think she’ll leave tomorrow or what? #cbbuk," And another suggested: "Can they please lock the door after Gary is evicted and not let Sharon leave pls #CBBUK."

However, other fans hoped Sharon could stay longer than expected. One viewer wrote: "I'm so confused by Sharon's contract. Didn't we hear she's only there for 5 days? So I assumed she'd leave during tonight's live show but crickets. So... I guess she's staying for a little longer? #CBBUK #CBB #BBUK." And another gasped: "I honestly love Sharon! Don’t want her to leave #CBBUK."

Before she entered the house as a ‘celebrity lodger’, reports suggested Sharon was being paid £100,000 per day to appear on Celebrity Big Brother - and she was expected to feature on the show for five days. A source told The Sun on Sunday ahead of the launch day: "Bosses did all they could to get Sharon and finally reached a deal she’s happy with. Sharon will inject enough drama but without her original price tag that was just not feasible. Producers cannot wait to see her reunite with Louis and know that it will be TV gold.”

However, a member of Sharon’s team rejected the report - telling The Mirror the report was “Not true”. However, the spokesperson did not specify if this meant the star was being paid more or less than the reported £100K - and also didn’t say if the star would appear for more than five days on the show. As part of her deal, Sharon has been allocated her own quarters in the CBB house - with her own room and own bed where she sleeps separately from the other stars.
