EastEnders fans 'work out' Nish murder twist as resident 'to take revenge'
EastEnders fans believe time is up for Nish Panesar, and that another resident will murder the villain on the BBC soap.
Nish hasn't been seen since he was booted out of his home by the rest of the Panesar family, following his latest antics. After he tried to attack new love interest Kat Slater, amid his plan to get access to her ex Phil Mitchell's empire, he also turned on his wife Suki Panesar once more.
Now, viewers think that despite him surviving death at Christmas, time is finally running out for the Walford villain. Amid actor Navin Chowdhry addressing viewer backlash, fans now believe one character in particular could take him down.
Fans believe that when Phil finds out Nish attacked Kat and was using her to get to him, likely targeting him too, Phil will take a deadly revenge and could get rid of him for good. Taking to social media, one fan posted: "Might of survived Christmas but his time is definitely running out especially after last week..." as another said: "When Phil finds out Nish is a dead man."
In December, fans saw Nish attacked and left for dead during a showdown with The Six after he attacked his wife Suki. Nish survived the blow to the head dealt by Denise Fox thanks to his wife reviving him, despite everything he had put her through.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessLast month the star spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the drama ahead for villain Nish, weeks on from him almost being killed by The Six at Christmas. Speaking at the TV Choice Awards 2024 on Monday, he told us: "I am alive, I believe so. I had text messages on my phone [during the Christmas episode] going, 'oh no' and then two minutes later 'oh...'. I think despite the whole nation being gutted that I'm still alive, I feel okay about it for now."
On whether we could see Nish taking revenge or opt for a redemption arc, he went on: "There’s either redemption or revenge so let's see what happens, there can only be one." Navin also teased "unfinished business" for the Panesars, telling us: "There’s a lot that needs to be resolved."
