Jennifer Garner was aware that Ben still had feelings for JLo

Jennifer Lopez's new film, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, included some details that Ben Affleck didn't approve of.

After JLo and Ben split, they stayed in contact even when he was dating Jennifer Garner. In fact, Ben put those sweet words into a book, gifting them to JLo when they reunited. Lopez showed off this part of her love story during her new film which is largely based on her and Ben's tumultuous relationship.

Insiders, though, say Garner was actually aware that Ben still had feelings for Lopez, even if she didn't know all of the exact details. Now, Garner has moved on from the relationship, too, linking with John Miller.

Nonetheless, Ben didn't really want the word getting out to fans. A source told the DailyMail: "Ben would love for the outside world not to know about his love letters, but he is a romantic, and as much as he loved Jennifer, he never got over JLo ... Ben keeps his memories, whether it is from movies he worked on or family and relationship moments, he always has what the kids call "'receipts.'"

Garner is reportedly "OK" with it and she wasn't surprised by the book and there doesn't seem to be any hard feelings. In fact, Garner and Lopez "have a good relationship and they have become friends," according to another insider. They even slammed those who think there are "bad feelings" for being "ridiculous."

This has made it easier for everyone in the blended family as they're all able to spend time together. The source added: "JLo and Jen have a lot of respect for each other and Jennifer has told JLo how happy she is that she has come back into Ben’s life because she can actually keep him in check. JLo refuses to let him slip into his old ways."

Lopez described the book in the documentary as "every letter every mail that we wrote each other from 20 years ago and today." One note explained was entitled 'Greatest Love Story Never Told by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 2001-2010... and counting.'" Ben gave her the book for Christmas once they got back together.
