Capcom has announced two showcases to take place over the next week. This week's showcase focuses on the upcoming Dragon's Dogma 2 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

Capcom can't seem to settle on a name for its gaming showcases, but the latest presentation from the company – the Capcom Highlights showcase – is a two-day event, the first of which arrives later this week on Thursday, March 7. Capcom Highlights day one will focus on two games, the major one being Dragon's Dogma 2 – which is set to arrive later this month on Friday, March 22.

We previewed the game back in September, and again earlier this month, with Mirror Gaming's Aaron Potter saying "I came away impressed at just how well Capcom has appeared to make an extremely faithful (yet modernised) iteration of the 2012 original; for instance climbing any one the giant beasts and either sinking a sword, arrow, or axe into their skull or back still feels immensely liberating in that ‘I know I’m going to regret this’ kind of way". It's safe to say the hype is well and truly set in for Dragon's Dogma 2. Capcom hasn't said what exactly will be shown from the game, however, we have a hunch the rumoured Dragon's Dogma 2 demo could be announced at the show.

The other game confirmed for the first Capcom Highlights showcase is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which is also set to show up at the Xbox Partner Preview showcase this week. Considering we've seen very little of it since it was first announced at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023, Capcom may finally be ramping up to start pushing the upcoming title ahead of its 2024 release.
