EastEnders Jack Branning could rumble The Six next week as he makes a shock discovery.

Soap fans will recall that over the festive period, The Six - made up of Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts and Kathy Beale - grouped to cover up a murder. During the explosive episode, Suki's abusive husband Nish tried to stop her from leaving him for lover Eve Unwin as he got aggressive. The Six stepped in and Denise whacked him over the head with a Champagne bottle.

After thinking he was dead, he was able to be revived but during the dramatic scenes, Sharon's jilted groom Keanu showed up and attempted to take her son, Albie, where he started strangling Sharon to which Linda stabbed him. So far, The Six have covered up the murder by hiding Keanu's body in the abandoned café following the fire, pretending Keanu attacked Nish before going on the run.

Last week, Stacey found herself being framed for hitting Nish by the character himself after he was left humiliated by her and Kat Slater. Nish decided to give DC Whisson a call regarding the events of Christmas, where he lied and said Stacey attacked him.

Stacey was taken to the police station for questioning, where she made a desperate plea to Jack, who she is having an affair with, to help clear her name. Later, Stacey was released without charge but she may have landed The Six in huge trouble after making two mistakes.

Stacey's first mistake was saying the women have "stories" instead of statements, leaving Jack suspicious, and later she accidentally confessed that Denise attacked Nish before trying to backtrack on the claims. In upcoming scenes, Amy and Ricky beg Jack to let them see Denise, who has been sectioned following the stress from Christmas. However, Denise is refusing to see anyone.

Meanwhile, Johnny insists that Stacey needs to get to Denise before Jack or the kids do as otherwise The Six run the risk of their secret being blown wide open. After pressure from Johnny, Stacey asks Denise if she can visit. Later at the hospital, Denise tells Stacey she's no longer seeing Keanu but she wants to stay in hospital.

However, Stacey argues that she needs her loved ones around her and things take an awkward turn when Jack walks in, demanding to know why Stacey is there. Stacey is quick to think of an excuse as she creates a cover story but Jack is left hurt when Denise turns him away. Later in the week, Jack is rattled over Stacey's secret visit to Denise as he starts to do some digging...
