Paddy McGuinness shuts down 'ridiculous lies' about his divorce from Christine
Paddy McGuinness had enough of the 'ridiculous lies' being told about the details of his divorce from Christine McGuinness.
The 50-year-old TV presenter and model Christine announced their separation in July 2022. after 11 years of marriage. Following the split, it's been reported that Christine has hired Catherine Bedford, a partner at the legal firm Harbottle & Lewis, who is known in the field as "the pitbull" when it comes to divorce matters.
Christine and Paddy have remained living in the same home in Cheshire with their ten-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and their seven-year-old daughter Felicity, who all suffer from autism, since their breakup. Following the split, reports claimed he allegedly issued her an ultimatum that stated she was to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which would legally forbid her from discussing their marriage.
After catching wind of the reports, Paddy took to his Instagram to share his frustrations. He started the video by saying: "Oh my days! He said the reports were 'cheeky' and said he doesn't mind rumours about his career in TV as it's 'part of the job'. "But this kind of thing? Come on!" he said.
He told followers the NDA has "absolutely, categorically never been done". He continued: "Me and Christine were talking about it this morning. It’s ridiculous. Ruined our Sunday, the sun is shining, and I’ve gotta deal with this. And it’s saying a friend of Christine’s has told them.

He finished his video by telling people to "be better" and added: "I don’t want my kids reading rubbish like this." Paddy recently opened up about his relationship with Christine and revealed the duo still "love each other deeply". In a frank interview, Paddy has said while he and Christine no longer share a bed, the pair still love one another deeply and he forgets that they're separated.
"There's no toxicity in the house, says it all really," he said. Paddy went on to add: "We have separate bedrooms because we respect that we aren't together any more but, whether we work it through or we don’t, what we do have is a really, really lovely family unit at home. We both love each other."
