Saturday Night Takeaway fans were a little confused by a prize on offer in the latest episode of the ITV series.

Guest host Jordan North was on hand to launch a brand new game on the series featuring an inflatable cow, with him teasing his location. He was advising those watching at home to stay tuned, and to try to figure out where he was in the UK.

He then shared a list of prizes on offer for anyone that was successful, before revealing one prize that left some viewers baffled. Jordan announced that tickets for the BRIT Awards 2024 were up for grabs for the winner and guests.

But fans didn't understand how this was possible given the awards were being filmed and airing that very evening. The awards were being streamed live from 8:30pm on ITV1, barely an hour away from Saturday Night Takeaway.

It was barely gone 7pm when Jordan announced the tickets as a prize to anyone that could track him down, while it was then repeated by guest announcer Matt Lucas at 7:45pm. Ant and Dec also confirmed the prize, but by the time the game was meant t take place, it seemed the winners would have no time to get ready for the BRITs, with viewers not even sure they would make it in to the ceremony.

Taking to X, viewers questioned the prize with one writing: "How can you send them to the Brit awards when it’s tonight after the show?? They would not get there in time."

Another agreed: "How the f**k are they gonna get them to the Brits when it literally starts in over an hour. Surely that cow must be near it?" A third posted: "WOW Brits tickets - they'd have to get there quick - it starts at half 8," as a fourth confused fan wrote; "Uh? Brits are on tonight."

It comes as hosts Ant and Dec previously opened up about their decision to rest the show. Ant said: "We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now.

"Like I say, we’re turning 49, and what do we want to do next? What’s the next phase of our career? And we’ve got lots of ideas and lots of offers on the table, lots of options of things we can do. But it’s working on what we do next and where the next chapter begins.

"So that’s what we’re gonna do when Saturday Night Takeaway is out of the way. We’ll sit down, take a bit of time, and re-evaluate everything." In an interview with Flaunt magazine recently ahead of the new series' launch, he added on what's next: "A lot, we do the show and then Britain's Got Talent, but on a more personal level, part of the reason we're pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family.

"We've both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit."Whilst Saturday Night Takeaway will be ending, Ant and Dec's partnership will continue, with the pair expected to present I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here together later this year as well as other telly jobs too.
