Adult star makes unexpected career shift that will see her on people's screens
A popular social media influencer and OnlyFans content creator has made an unexpected announcement about a change in her career that has left many of her followers in shock.
Influencer and OnlyFans model Jennifer Funes has announced that she is becoming a news anchor, despite the big bucks she rakes in on social media and with her monthly subscriptions through the NSFW app. The 26-year-old is known for her racy content on Instagram and TikTok where she has 700,000 and 152,000 followers respectively.
Meanwhile, to access her OnlyFans content, people will have to pay a monthly OnlyFans subscription of $23 (£18). Despite her online fame, the Honduran model has shocked her army of fans by announcing that she is entering the world of journalism as a news presenter.

Aqui Entre Nosotros - which translates as Here Among Us - is a YouTube only news channel that has been promoting Funes as its main presenter, drawing a fresh crowd of her adoring fans. She explained: “I think and feel that it is necessary to change my social networks and my life.
“I want to look more serious, enter the world of journalism, which is what I studied.” She added: “Very soon Jennifer Funes will be presenting news.”
With an increasing number of people quitting their 9-5 jobs for content creation and social media work, Funes is among a small number making the shift from spicy content to something more family friendly. Model Dasha Daley went viral last year when she shared the lows of working in content creation, making the decision to get a more mainstream job.
Australian Daley, started an OnlyFans account two years ago and made ‘good money’ while enjoying being her own boss. But in a 2023 TikTok video she revealed that she has a "real" job and is feeling much more fulfilled in her new role.
“It’s day one at a real job after being a spicy content creator for two years. And after a 10-hour shift, I’m honestly really tired, but I just feel so fulfilled that I’ve got a normal job again and I’ve actually worked.”
Daley’s fans were very positive about her new job, with one posting: “glad you know what's best for you, all the best in the new journey!” Another said: “I went back into a ‘normal’ a year ago and I feel the same way, I’m already in management, I feel much more proud and fulfilled as well.”
