Vanessa Feltz makes sly dig at ex amid raunchy debate on 'noisy sex'
Vanessa Feltz couldn't resist a sly dig at her ex as she joined This Morning for unusual debates on husbands and noisy sex today.
The broadcaster, 62, had been engaged to Ben Ofoedu but split after 16 years together in February 2023 after discovering he had been unfaithful. However, Vanessa was left "mortified" last month after Ben publicly called her out after her "lack of support".
Appearing on the ITV daytime show with Gyles Brandreth, stand-in host Paddy McGuinness quipped at the table: "I can’t believe we were just coming off the break when we were talking about Vanessa’s love life." But she was quick to retort: "It would have been a very quiet conversation, let me tell you!"
Among the discussions today was the news that a shopping mall in China had installed "husband pods". Vanessa cheekily asked: "Does it apply to exes?"
Back in 2017, The Global Harbour mall in Shanghai, China, became one of the first malls to create glass pods with leather seats where bored men can play retro video games. Further malls have since introduced this to improve the "experience" of retail shopping for men.
Richard 'shuts up' GMB guest who says Hancock 'deserved' being called 'd***head'Vanessa went on to give her opinion of the pods, retorting: "Why did they even come, why didn't they stay at home? Don’t be such a baby, for godness sake. Toys and games and being locked in a playpen. Be a man and get on with it!"
The discussion then turned steamy over the news that a luxury glamping site in Hampshire had been forced to shut down because people were having too much noisy sex and doing too much karaoke. "Several people said that they were forced to listen to too many people having loud sex in their tents as well as doing karaoke," Alison read out as she laughed.
Giving her opinion, Vanessa said: "How would you feel if you lived next door to that glamping site and you could hear people in the throes of ecstacy? 'Yes, yes' and then they totally murder Hotel California and you're just trying to live your life? I mean, it's a bit much, isn't it?"
Paddy added: "I think for me - I've had it when I've been in a hotel and someone's in the next room getting fruity. You hear it at first and you think, 'Good on you!' But 10 minutes and you're like, come on!"
