Queen Camilla was spotted "scolding" Princess Charlotte with two words during a tense and emotional moment, a lip reader noticed.

The Royal Family said their final goodbyes to the late Queen Elizabeth during the funeral and committal service on September 19, 2022. At one point in the event, youngsters Prince George and Princess Charlotte lined up behind King Charles and the senior royals.

Lip reader, Jeremy Freeman, thinks he spotted Prince George attempting to pinch his sister, prompting the Princess to yelp in pain and turn around to face her brother, before seeming to say "ow!". Behind them, Meghan Markle was seen tilting her head and smiling at Charlotte. The incident, however, appeared to annoy Granny Camilla, who frowned, pointed at Charlotte, and then turned to Princess of Wales muttering: "Take her."

According to other lip readers, as reported in The Sun, Charlotte was spotted giving her brother words of wisdom throughout the day, as spotted by eagle-eyed royal fans. At one point, Charlotte was reportedly seen mouthing something to George, with lip readers decoding the message as: "You need to bow." Prince George, who was dressed in a navy suit and black tie, appeared to nod at his sister's comments, which were reminding him of royal protocol.

The moment was captured on live TV and viewers quickly pointed out the "disagreement" between Charlotte and George. One tweeted: "Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort, Camilla." A second added: "What did Charlotte say when she turned back around? Was it wow? Ow? Cow?"

By comparison, Queen Camilla was seen to offer Princess Charlotte a comforting gesture after she took a stumble while curtsying to King Charles in May last year. Ahead of the star-studded coronation concert, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children greeted the King and Queen with curtsies and bows as the monarch and his wife made their way to their front-row seats in the royal box next to the Waleses.

However, after duplicating her mother’s deep curtsy to the King, Charlotte appeared to stumble slightly. The eight-year-old was seen looking at her father and older brother as she regained her footing. The wobble, which meant Princess Charlotte did not curtsy to Queen Camilla, appeared to be caught by her step-grandmother, who subtly reassured her step-granddaughter with a brief pat on the shoulder as she passed by.
