The Cyrus family dynasty haven’t had an easy few years in the spotlight, but the latest drama involving Tish Cyrus and her youngest daughter Noah has fans up in arms.
The family’s matriarch, 56, has been accused of pursuing now-husband Dominic Purcell, 54, while he was reportedly in a relationship with singer Noah, 24, but the scandal highlights the fractured family, who were once regarded as one of the most stable showbiz families. Miley, Noah and Braison are from Tish and Billy Ray’s union, Brandi and her brother Trace are from Tish’s previous relationship, while Billy Ray also has a son, Christopher Cody Cyrus.
In 2022, Tish and ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus stunned fans when they split for good after more than 30 years of marriage, but the former couple found love again shortly after their official separation. Last year, Tish married actor Dominic after a whirlwind romance, while Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker Billy Ray wed 34-year-old Australian singer Firerose.

However, the claims in U Weekly may explain Noah’s absence from the ceremony, which was held in Miley’s backyard at her Malibu mansion. A source told the outlet that the 24-year-old was banned from attending, and a security team was placed outside the Flowers hitmaker’s home to prevent Noah from getting inside. The allegations that Tish was actively pursuing Dominic while he was seeing her daughter have stunned fans, but former friends of the matriarch called the report “dumb gossip”, according to Page Six.

Noah and Miley have been at war in recent years, as the 24-year-old slammed her sister as “disrespectful” for calling her a “sad emo kid” during an interview on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Miley hit the headlines with rumours of a rift between her and father Billy Ray during her acceptance speech when she won her first ever Grammy in January. She brutally snubbed her father as she read out a list of people she needed to thank, including mother Tish and sister Brandi, and added: “I don’t think I forgot anyone - but I might have forgotten underwear.”

I didn’t even know - until I had a new relationship where there was so much respect - how much disrespect there was in my marriage before,” she said on the Call her Daddy podcast.
While Billy Ray has kept silent on his marriage to Tish, he did express regret at moving to Los Angeles in 2005 so Miley, then 13, could star in Hannah Montana, and suggested it was the beginning of the end for their perfect family dynamic. “It destroyed my family. I’ll tell you right now - the damn show destroyed my family,” he told GQ in 2011. “It’s all sad.”
