Made In Chelsea star Ryan Libbey revealed his fiancé Louise Thompson is back in hospital again.

He took to his Instagram page last night to share an update on her health and said he bought some headphones for her to cheer her up while she recovers. "Picked up a little gift for Louise earlier this morning. Unfortunately, she had to go back into hospital at 3am on Sunday morning and she’s still there," he said.

"I’m hoping these will transport her to her own little world whilst she’s on the ward recovering," he said as he showcased the types of headphones. The mum-of-one, 33, has been in and out of hospital since giving birth to her son, Leo, with whom she suffered a traumatic birth, leaving her with PTSD and a slew of health issues.

The former reality star only recently got discharged from the hospital after 17 days in recovery. She had been rushed to hospital after returning to the UK from a holiday in Antigua when she was left in agonising pain. She spent two weeks receiving treatment after losing cups of blood every 20 minutes before returning home to her fiancé Ryan and their two-year-old son, Leo.

She made sure to keep her fans updated on her health after being released from the hospital and said she would have to return to the hospital a lot in the coming weeks. Sharing a short clip of herself in a car while listening to the Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, she shared: “Big steps. 1. First school run with the gang. 2. Then back to the hospital for weekly check ins. 3. Also Biffy Clyro just BANGS."

Louise was diagnosed with a number of health issues, which she says she'll have to battle for the rest of her life. In 2018, the reality star shared the news that she had been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis - a medical condition that causes inflammation of the lower end of the digestive system, including the large bowel and rectum.

She fell pregnant in 2020 but had a traumatic birthing experience when Leo arrived in 2021 in which she suffered a haemorrhage and lost three litres of blood. She was also diagnosed with post-traumatic stress following the birth - and was also given a lupus diagnosis.

The former reality star didn't explicitly reveal why she landed back in the hospital but she did talk about a C-reactive protein, CRP, which is an annular pentameric protein found in the blood which turns up high in situations where the body is responding to inflammation.

The TV personality reassured fans that she's a 'strong cookie' after her return from the hospital and said she was 'working hard on a speedy recovery.' "And there will be a silver lining. I promise I’m already searching for it. Already found a few nuggets. ⁣⁣ A nice little reminder that health is everything. It must always come first first first. Along with my family and my son," Louise said.
