Charles Bronson's signed art including Kray tribute on sale for 'a steal'

Charles Bronson's signed artwork which includes a tribute to one of the Krays brothers are on sale for "a steal" at £1K each.

Charles Salvador, better known as Charles Bronson is a well-known criminal, with a violent and notorious life as a prisoner who has been featured in numerous books, interviews, and studies of prison reform and treatment, including the 2008 biopic Bronson starring Tom Hardy, based loosely on his life. Now, Charles Bronson's artwork which chronicles 12 different year stories and signed by Charles himself is on sale for £1K per page.

The artwork features cut-outs and drawings of celebrities, and writing of headlines that were significant to Bronson during that year, such as "Fire in Windsor Castle, £50 million damage", "Chelsea wins F.A cup", "The Great Audrey Hepburn dies." The most notable is a tribute to Charles Kray that takes up a large central space on one of the pages from the year in which he died, 2000. Charles Kray is the older brother of Britain's most notorious gangsters Reggie and Ronnie Kray, as well as being a infamous criminal himself, albeit with a less violent history.

The seller explains that the artwork is part of a collection acquired from a very good friend of Charles Bronson who allegedly attended his wedding in 2017, adding greater provenance. The item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. "This is part of a collection acquired from a very good friend of Charles who even attended his wedding in 2017 which adds great provenance and more details can be provided", reads the listing.

"Although we love the eBay concept of bidding and that is why we start our items off at a fair price, saying this we will always accept good, fair, honest, offers. Item is in perfect condition with good clear signing. We have been collecting memorabilia for over 30 years and have decided to start selling again from our private collection, all items will be supplied with our COA and or the COA that came with the item when it was purchased.
