Married At First Sight's Jordan Gayle breaks silence on 'very sad' Erica split
Married At First Sight star Jordan Gayle reveals it's "very sad" his relationship with Erica Roberts has come to an end.
The couple were seen together at the reunion just days before announcing they had called time on their romance after meeting on the E4 dating series last year. Jordan and Erica had experienced their fair share of ups and downs as a couple both on and after the show, but Jordan has confirmed the explosive reunion did not play a part in their split.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "Yes sadly we are not together anymore but not because of the reunion. It's very sad the way this has come out and I'm not sure where it's come from.
"But there is a lot of noise coming from people who know nothing about what has happened... the reunion was filmed around 5 months ago and we have had great and special memories since then, some of them you've seen on our social media's."

This is all will say for now, I will speak again when the time is right but for now... I will be around those people who really know me." (sic)

It comes after Erica took to social media to also confirm the end of their relationship. She wrote: "It's disappointing that Jordan and I weren't able to share this on our own terms due to the press leak but we would just like to confirm that we are no longer together.
"This hasn't been an easy decision for us both as we really wanted to make our relationship work. I truly wish him all the best and there is no bad blood between us."
Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported the couple had parted ways after months of "bitter" arguments and fallouts. A source claimed to MailOnline: "It was Erica that ended her marriage with Jordan… she did everything possible to make it work but sadly they struggled and in the end, she had no choice but to give up. Jordan can be hotheaded and Erica's looking for someone who's a bit more laidback so in the end it was a constant personality clash."
The source claimed that watching back difficult memories on Monday night's reunion show helped contribute to their split. However, this was subsequently denied by Jordan who revealed the couple enjoyed plenty of happy memories together following the reunion.
During their time on the show, the couple seemed to go from strength to strength but struggled when Jordan clashed with their co-stars including Luke Worley – who was forced to leave the show after a physical alteration with Jordan. Jordan and Erica become the latest couple to call time on their relationship following co-stars Georges Berthonneau and Peggy Lawrence, who separated at the end of January.
