A former Married At First Sight Australia star stunned fans as he reappeared on the show.

Mitch Eynaud, 28, surprised viewers on the E4 dating programme on Wednesday night as his brother met his expert match. He supported Jayden as he followed in Mitch's footsteps in getting married on the show. The former groom was paired with Ella Ding in season 9 of the matchmaking show.

However, he left her heartbroken during the final vows when he broke things off. Ella has since branded Mitch "the worst guy she's ever dated" despite their electric connection on their wedding day. As Mitch helped his brother Jayden get ready for the experiment and his wedding day, he revealed he had regrets about his own experience.

He admitted: "I didn't trust the experiment and obviously looking back on it now, I wish I did trust it a bit more It was very difficult for me to open up and be myself and that's something I regret, but Jayden and I are very different... He's going to go all the way." Kickboxer Jayden insisted he is nothing like his older brother.

Jayden said: "He's my brother, I love him to death, but when it comes to relationships we're very different." He revealed that despite his hard exterior, he is a big "softy" inside and that he is the opposite of his "smart a*s brother". Jayden was paired up with Eden, 28, on the show. They got off to a good start on their wedding day, giving fans hope they will be a success.

Taking to social media, viewers reacted to Mitch's unexpected appearance. One pointed out Eden didn't comment on former contestant Mitch being at her wedding as they said: "I find it very odd that there's been no comment on Mitch. Does she not recognise him? Come on now." Another added: "Can we focus less on Mitch, please? He’s had his go!" Someone else commented: "Mitch is obviously full of regret. #MAFSAU."

A fourth urged Jayden: "DO NOT take advice from Mitch. It's like Hannibal Lecktor giving advice on veganism." A viewer wrote: "I like these two. Please don’t be like Mitch, please don’t be like Mitch, please don’t be like Mitch …." Someone else begged: "Fingers crossed Jayden doesn't do a Mitch and cheat on his wife," as a viewer quipped: "Good old mitch spotted again." One asked: "Has nobody noticed Mitch??? He's defo noticed some of the girls on the brides side!!!" Another quipped: "Omg, what a waster and messer Mitch was. I hope his brother is a nicer bloke."

Mitch's former bride Ella criticised the show after discovering Mitch had been scouted for the reality experiment, rather than applying for it. She fumed: "This guy is not here for the right reasons - I am stitched up. If he just wanted to come off the show with more women running at him and a modelling career, Love Island may have been the one."

Ella has also hit out on Mitch returning to MAFS, as she admitted she doesn't "buy" his confession. "Unfortunately I don't necessarily buy it. I think he'd regret parts of the experiment but I think because he broke a lot of trust it's hard to believe that," she told Daily Mail Australia. "It just seemed a little too perfectly said to me maybe I'm holding onto resentment who knows."
