The Apprentice's Karren Brady says daughter turned down Love Island many times

The Apprentice star Karren Brady said her social media influencer daughter has turned down Love Island several times.

She shares daughter Sophia Peschisolido, 26, with former Canadian footballer Paul Peschisolido.

Sophia found success as an influencer and boasts over 360,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares stunning photos of herself.

And now that Love Island has returned to our screens, 53-year-old Karren revealed her daughter was given many opportunities to appear on the show.

Discussing Sophia, she said: "I'm very proud of her, she's a very kind, lovely girl. I did take a few photos of her [for social media] in lockdown.

"We all had a little go at some point when she couldn't do it herself."

She added to Closer Magazine: "She's been asked to go on Love Island a few times but she wouldn't do it."

Many daughters and sons of famous people have appeared on Love Island over the years.

Last year, Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen found temporary love with Luca Bish while Ronan Keating's son Jack had a brief stint.

Singer Antigoni Buxton, who was in the last series, is the daughter of television presenter and chef Tonia Buxton, who will be familiar to Sunday Brunch viewers.

Tommy Fury, who is expecting a baby with Molly-Mae Hague, is the brother of boxer Tyson Fury.

Meanwhile, Karren recently returned to The Apprentice with fellow aides Claude Littner and Tim Campbell.

He was on the first episode of the BBC One show but left due to a health condition.

Karren added on Claude: “He's really in good health.

When probed about whether Claude will be back for next year's confirmed series, Karren seemed hopeful.

"Potentially," she responded. "It's entirely, I would imagine, up to him and how he's feeling."

Speaking to the press, Lord Sugar stated: “Obviously it's been a great journey starting with [aide from 2005 to 2014 ] Nick Hewer and then Claude.

“Unfortunately, Claude suffered some medical issues and so I was asked to think of someone else, and who better than somebody who's actually been through the process?”

Claude had to bow out of the previous series following a horror bike accident, which saw doctors consider amputating his leg after the fall.
