Hollyoaks viewers can expect some huge scenes next week, from drama and discoveries to new storylines beginning.

There's the possibility of an unexpected new romance, while one coupling sparks a feud between a family. One resident grows suspicious about a newcomer, leading to them doing some digging.

One teenager finds themself unknowingly heading straight into danger, while another confides in at least one resident about some big news in a huge gender identity storyline.

There's brothers at war, families on the brink and even a shock arrest leaving one resident concerned for their future. Here are the biggest moments happening next week on the Channel 4 and E4 soap.

There's a feud between the McQueens after Cleo and her cousin Theresa fall out over her on/off boyfriend Abe, as she discovers they've slept together. She declares she wants nothing to do with him, resulting in an alarming phone call.

Cleo's cousin Mercedes is left suspicious over Abe too, and next week we will see her go snooping to figure out what is going on with him. Abe then makes a confession about his mum, but will Mercedes believe him?

Abe is also locked in drama with his brother Joel, when Joel finds out about his fling with Theresa. Joel meanwhile is still trying to fix things with partner Leela - but will his drama with Abe cause more chaos for the couple?

Viewers will also see the start of the soap's new gender identity storyline involving youngster Rose Lomax. Rose will confide in Kitty that they are questioning their gender identity, with Kitty urging them to open up to their mother Diane.

Diane and Tony listen to Kitty’s advice, but there's initially a mishap when Diane and Tony find themselves being arrested by police after an incident. Diane is arrested for driving over the limit, and when Tony steps in to protect his wife he too is put in cuffs.

When they eventually get home, will Rose open up to them and can they be there for their child? Elsewhere, there is a possible romance on the cards which will no doubt come as a shock to many.

Prince and Dilly end up getting to know each other next week, and it's teased it could lead to much more for the pair. Finally, there's trouble ahead for teen Lucas as he continues to attend sessions with his headteacher Carter, unaware that it's actually gay conversion therapy.
