Chase Bank down as users report struggles with accessing accounts online
Customers of Chase Bank in the US are reporting problems using the bank's online and mobile app services, including logging in to their accounts.
One frustrated user said: "My balance STILL isn’t updated and deposits not showing… Ever since early Sunday morning, anyone else??"
While another wrote: "I've been trying to make a payment on the app for the past few hours. I'm just getting the spinning wheel when I hit the payment button."
As of 2pm ET, the majority of users (83%) reporting problems on downdetector.com have said they are facing issues with web login, while 11% of them say they are experiencing problems with "Account balances and transactions." Another 6% say they are having difficulties while trying to log in on smartphone apps.

User reports indicate problems at ChaseA lot of customers have taken to social media to complain about various issues, with the X (Twitter) page 'Chase Support' responding, encouraging some of them to call the customer support line on 1-800-935-9935 for deposit accounts or 1-800-945-2000 for credit cards.
It comes as the company's services have been experiencing major outages recently, affecting thousands of customers.
A user with the handle @TXCobrak also wrote: "@ChaseSupport text delays for logins not working and delays are 30-40 minutes. Can’t logon or use mobile site. ????"

Another desperate X (Twitter) user with the handle @V_sagarB uploaded a screenshot of the bank's webpage displaying an error message earlier today.
They wrote in a post: "This is 2024 , world is going Gen AI and what not and my Chase home page is down for over a week ...multiple calls, branch visits , secure messages, escalations , nothing seems to work and no one seems to care @Chase @ChaseSupport; trying a bit of noise in the town square"
The Chase Support account has responded to them requesting more details to "discuss this further."

@nlipson said: "Seriously, I just got 4 texts with numbers to sign in with, none of which worked, and all which came nearly an hour after requested. Now I'm not getting any...what's wrong with your system??"
And another said: "Wow @chase website literally has been down for the last 2 days. Is this widespread? Multiple days, multiple browsers."
