Dancing On Ice's Colin Grafton shared a worrying statement online

Dancing On Ice professional Colin Grafton has sent out a worrying message on social media as he asked for help.

The ice skater recently appeared on the ITV series as he was partnered with Claire Sweeney. However, the pair were the third stars to be voted out of the series. Following the show, the American skater, 32, took to his social media to issue a plea as he was unsure what to do.

Colin claimed he was asked to vacate his rental over a "safety concern". The ITV star took to X - formerly Twitter - to ask for help. He wrote: "Hello @Airbnb_uk I sincerely need your help. I have been asked to vacate my current airbnb rental on a 'safety concern', but am not getting any help on what to do next. I am currently in the midst of #DancingOnIce and now have nowhere to stay. Please help."

In response an Airbnb spokesperson told The Mirror: “The safety of our community is a priority, and our customer service team has apologised and helped the guest book a new listing at no extra cost. With over 1.5 billion guest arrivals on Airbnb, issues are rare and our global Community Support team is available 24/7 to assist.”

Colin, who has competed at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in the past, was branded "relentless" by Claire during their time on the show. The 52-year-old soap actress was one of the twelve contestants on season sixteen of ITV’s long-running winter sports competition.

Claire claimed that her professional skate partner didn't allow her a toilet break as they perfected their moves on the rink. In an appearance on This Morning, she said: "He's very patient Colin. He is lovely and so patient and kind. He is relentless though. He doesn't give me a minute. Even when I want to shoot to the toilet he's looking at me going 'You're lying.' And I am a bit, but..."

Earlier this month Claire and Colin were voted off the series. Yet just before the very first live show, Colin suffered a secret family heartbreak. He was in tears ahead of heading onto the rink with the soap star following an emotional call with his family. It came after Colin's dad Roy had the unexpected stroke on Wednesday 10 January.

His family were said to have been unsure if Roy would be able to walk or talk again. He had two surgeries on the brain following the stroke. Claire was said to have been "incredibly supportive" to Colin following the news. Colin and Claire did not perform that evening but did appear on the show.

A TV insider told The Sun at the time: “On the night of the first show of Dancing on Ice, Colin's mum called him and to his surprise his dad was able to construct a few words and communicate to Claire and Colin to have a good show, saying 'go get it'. This was very emotional for Claire and Colin before the show, bringing tears to all, and the wardrobe who was getting them in the dressing room. It was just moments before the first live show, which thankfully they were not competing in.” Following his dad’s stroke, Colin shared a picture of his father on social media. Alongside the snap, he wrote: “Love you Dad! You're a fighter. Xo”
