Two major Corrie characters face death as villain takes violent revenge

Coronation Street airs deadly scenes next week, as one villain takes revenge on two residents.

Villain Harvey Gaskell takes action against Adam Barlow after he goes against their big plan. The pair teamed up to take down Harvey's brother Damon Hay recently, amid Damon's romance with Sarah Platt - Adam's ex-wife.

But things took a turn with Adam realising Harvey's true plan including an escape plot. Adam's attempts to stop what he'd started will leave two of those close to him in grave danger next week, as Harvey orders for someone to take revenge on Adam.

Sarah and her daughter Bethany Platt will fight for their lives as a car comes speeding towards them in an attempt to seriously harm if not kill them. The pair are unaware of the danger they are in as the vehicle accelerates towards them with them having nowhere to go.

It begins next week after Adam signs his and Sarah's divorce papers, before he decides to delete Harvey’s appeal document and places the USB of the CCTV footage in a jiffy bag and marks it ‘The murder of Natasha Blakeman’. Viewers know that Harvey is in prison for shooting and killing Natasha, believing her to be Leanne Battersby.

Harvey is trying to frame someone else for this crime to get released, but Adam decides to put a stop to this and has the evidence. When the villain finds out, Harvey calls him aware that the police have the CCTV footage and tells Adam to watch his back.

Back on the cobbles, Adam calls at Sarah’s flat and tells her he doesn't want to get a divorce, and that he still loves her and wants them to reconcile. Sarah is taken aback by the news and soon runs out of the flat.

As she does, daughter Bethany sees her mother upset and rushes over to join her, only for disaster to strike. A car comes speeding towards them but will they be okay?

Spoilers for the next episode tease a hospital dash for the pair, as Daniel rails at Adam for getting involved with Harvey and endangering Sarah’s and Bethany’s lives. Luckily the characters survive, given Damon assures his lover she and Bethany have nothing to fear.
