Vanessa Feltz "immediately felt desperately disorientated" as she recalled her drink being spiked on a night out in London.

The radio and TV host has shared the terrifying experience where she "lost track of where and who she was". She has bravely opened up about the incident and her decision not to report it to the police. The This Morning star addressed spiking as she admitted: "I do know about this.

"I could sort of disingenuously ask you about this as if I don't know, but I do know because it did happen to me. And I'm among the many, many women who didn't even dream of reporting it to the police." Vanessa revealed she didn't think about reporting the incident to police "because she didn't know who’d done it".

She shared: "I was in a bar in Streatham in south London, and I'm not a drinker, but I agreed to have an alcoholic drink because I didn't want to have that whole rigmarole where you say, 'Oh, no, I’ll just have a water or a Diet Coke' and everyone thinks you're a party pooper. So I said, 'Yes, please', but had one tiny sip of I think it was rum and a Diet Coke, and I, exactly as my colleague Kate McCann described, I immediately felt desperately disorientated, kind of lost track of really where I was and who I was."

"I managed to get home, just as she said, with great difficulty, just to keep my thoughts collected, to get myself out of the door and into a cab was almost impossibly difficult, and I was still feeling the effects, I remember all the way through the night, all the way through the following day and into the following night," Vanessa said on her TalkTV show.

"It was incredibly dramatic as a result of one extremely small sip of a drink. So I know what it's like. It's horrid." Earlier this month Vanessa was left feeling "humiliated and hurt" after her ex Ben Ofoedu revealed he wanted to date her friend Ulrika Jonsson.

Vanessa, who spent 16 years with Phats and Small singer Ben, 51, has been open about her heartbreak after finding out on Christmas Day 2022 via social media that he had cheated on her while on tour with his band. She has only just felt "settled enough" to spend the first night alone since their split.

Vanessa and Ben narrowly avoided an awkward encounter with each other at a West End theatre event, where Ben was accompanied by his rumoured new girlfriend, reality TV star Precious Muir, 34. Although a source said Vanessa had "no idea" her ex was also there, Ben later stated on his social media: "Reportedly, she saw me and it's a shame she didn't come up and say hello."

Ben stirred up more drama as he admitted: "I always reply to all my DMs, that's why I'm in this trouble." He also revealed his celebrity crushes as actress Sheridan Smith and presenter Ulrika Jonsson, who is Vanessa's friend. Speaking about "gorgeous, stunning" Ulrika, Ben said he would "100% pursue her". However, Ulrika was one of the first women to support Vanessa when news of the split first broke.
