Wendy Williams gave us a look inside her $4.5 million luxury condo

Wendy Williams’ new revealing documentary series has given us more than a glimpse inside the iconic presenter’s life over the past few years.

Where is Wendy Williams? sees the 59-year-old open up about her health battles, the controversy surrounding her conservatorship, and her desire to get back into the spotlight. The insight into Wendy’s chaotic life all takes place against the backdrop of her sprawling multi-million dollar New York mansion.

Wendy reportedly moved into the lavish bachelorette pad after the end of her 22-year marriage to her ex-manager Kevin Hunter, whom she shares 23-year-old Kevin Hunter Junior, with. Wendy was left heartbroken when Kevin Senior fathered a child with another woman in a high-profile cheating scandal, and the star was forced to file for divorce.

When Wendy initially moved into the luxury condo, she was reportedly renting it for a whopping $15,000 (£11,830) a week. She eventually bought it a couple of years later, officially taking over ownership in 2021 - reportedly for a massive $4.5 million (£3.5 million).

The stunning high-rise apartment is located in Manhattan’s infamous financial district, boasting incredible views overlooking the city skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty. The 2,400-square-foot apartment sprawls across two stories, and has three bathrooms and three bedrooms, along with huge balcony areas.

Pictures of the luxury home from realtor.com boasts enormously high ceilings, beautiful granite countertops, and stunning window views. The building also has access to a gym, indoor pool, game room, spa, movie theatre, sauna, and steam room - why would you ever leave?

Elsewhere in the documentary, Wendy's son spoke about his mother's dementia diagnosis. Kevin said: "They basically said that because she was drinking so much, it was starting to affect her headspace and her brain." Opening up about the verdict given by medical professionals, he continued: "So, I think they said it was alcohol-induced dementia."

Wendy's team issued a press release detailing her diagnosis, which is the same as Bruce Willis', on Thursday. The said: "In 2023, after undergoing a battery of medical tests, Wendy was officially diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Receiving a diagnosis has enabled Wendy to receive the medical care she requires." Although her team say the diagnosis was new, the documentary (which was filmed over the last few years) tells a different story.
