Love Island's Marcel 'broken' and leaves family home after finding wife cheated
Love Island star Marcel Somerville is said to be "absolutely devastated" and has moved out of his family home following allegations his wife of two years Rebecca Vieira has cheated.
The heartbroken reality TV star, 38, feels as though he's "living a nightmare" after discovering the mother of his child has been sending messages behind his back. Sources close to the dad-of-one say the Blazing Squad singer is "completely broken" by the betrayal.
Marcel, who married Rebecca in a lavish ceremony abroad in 2022, is living with friends at the moment, following damning posts emerging on social media involving his wife and US artist Slim Jxmmi. Rebecca has been accused by the mother of rapper Slim's baby on social media of being unfaithful to Marcel. The woman, who goes by the name KD, claims Rebecca has been sharing intimate messages with Slim - one half of hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd - and "cheating on her husband".
Following the posts gaining traction online, a source close to Marcel has told the Mirror: "Marcel is absolutely devastated. Rebecca was his life and he’d changed so many things about his lifestyle to make her happy. Everything he did, everything he worked for was for his wife and his son.

KD didn't hold back as she shared messages on her social media platforms that seemed to show Rebecca having an alleged flirtation with the This Could Be Us singer. "Some men have to watch who they marry and lie down with too. Y'all marry and settle down for the money and stability," KD wrote on her Instagram Stories as she shared screenshots with her followers.
She went on the write: "Cheating on your husband with my son's dad is crazy...especially after being in my DMs trying to link with me and be cool. Nasty work." KD tagged both Rebecca and her husband Marcel into the savage posts before sharing some messages that appeared to show Rebecca and Jxmmi enjoying a flirty exchange, including an alleged nude photo Rebecca sent to the Black Beatles singer.

As she shared images of a text conversation between Rebecca and Slim, KD blurred out Rebecca's phone number but kept the Love Island WAG's profile picture in - telling her followers: "no one can say these messages are fake." In one of the screenshots, a sender saved as "My Baby [love heart emojis] Becca]" can be seen saying: "I wanna see how you deal with me first. I always pull through when it comes to you. I got you every time."
KD then wrote on her stories: "mind you, this girl @rebeccavieirax was messaging me about a year ago telling me she was there for me and she was so sorry for what I was going through and that we had to link our kids. a few months later when me and him split, my sons dad told me she popped up on him at his London show and she was upset that he wasn't choosing her last may. mind you, she was like 3 months freshly married at the time. mad he wasn't choosing her." She then added: "@marcel_rockyb I hope you signed a prenup."

KD then shared a censored nude image of Rebecca taken in a bedroom, with screenshots Rebecca has shared of the room on her own accounts next to it, and wrote: "Sending nudes while married is crazy. I can't get over this. A bird will always be a bird."
Writing over a screenshot of one of Rebecca's recent TikTok posts, KD wrote: "Her Valentine's Day with her husband. same week telling my sons dad he's all she thinks about. I m praying for you @marcel_rockyb. and @rebeccavicirax you're too pretty of a girl to go out like this. you could of saved your fake love and words of affirmation to me and I wouldn't be this upset."
KD's posts were shared to The Shade Borough's Instagram page over the weekend, with the account captioning the screenshots: "US artist #RaeSremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi’s baby mother, #KiaraDanielson, has taken to Instagram stories to publicly call out former Love Islander #MarcelSomerville’s wife, #RebeccaVieira, for allegedly exchanging flirty texts with #SlimJxmmi. In her posts, Kiara [also shares] whatseem to be iMessages between Rebecca and the rapper, including an alleged nude, with messages as recently as February 13. (SWIPE). As of now, neither Rebecca nor Marcel has issued a response to Kiara’s allegations."
Love Island fans were quick to comment on the post, with one declaring: "Nah I feel it for marcel publicly humiliated." "OMG!!!! I really thought Rebecca and Marcel were solid," another shocked Instagram user penned, with a third adding: "Seeing these kind of messages from my wife would send me over the edge."
The Mirror has approached representatives for Marcel and Rebecca for comment on this story. Marcel last posted to his Instagram grid five days ago, sharing a video of his son Roman accidentally swearing while trying to read something off a screen. The doting dad captioned the video clip: "Children are so innocent but at the same time hilarious. He has no clue how funny he is…A bunch of sticks #funny #kids #family #comedy." Comments on the post have been limited. Rebecca shared an advert for Fashion Nova one day ago, with the comments also limited, and shared a loved-up "get ready with us" video over the weekend - with Marcus featuring in the footage as the pair got ready for a date night. "get ready with us for dinner in the woods," Rebecca captioned the montage that showed Marcel kissing her at several points.

Rebecca and Marcel tied the knot in August 2022 with a glamorous ceremony in Portugal. The former Blazin' Squad singer, 37, was joined by family and a few famous faces - including fellow ex-Islander Jonny Mitchell - for their big day. The couple, who are parents to two-year-old son Roman, got engaged at their gender reveal party back in August 2020.
In a beautiful church adorned with white rose petals, Marcel was seen walking down the aisle hand in hand with his mum as pictures and video clips of his big day were shared online. The singer-turned-reality star looked very smart in his three-piece suit, complete with a white blazer, white rose and black bow tie.
He was followed by his bride Rebecca, who looked stunning in a white lace dress that showed off her figure. She paired her blonde hair with a sparkly tiara and veil as she was walked down the aisle by her dad. Later, the party continued with the best men entertaining the guests with some dancing.
Earlier in the day, smitten Marcel shared a video of himself getting a "wedding day trim", joking that he needed to look his best. Sweetly, Marcel also gave Rebecca a wedding day gift in a lovely cream and gold box that read: "For my beautiful wife on our wedding day."
He previously dated fellow Love Island 2017 star Gabby Allen. After becoming one of the favourite couples in the villa, the pair split after Marcel cheated on the personal trainer while they were on holiday together in 2018.
