Lorraine Stanley showcased her super slim figure as she enjoyed the sun on a break to Tenerife.

The soap star, who is away with her fiancé Mark Perez, looked incredible in the holiday snaps. Lorraine - Karen Taylor in EastEnders - left Albert Square earlier this month after making her return after fans feared they've seen the last of her in Walford.

She looked almost unrecognisable during the trip, clearly having kept the pounds she lost last year off. The couple - who share daughter Nancy - beamed as they got away from the cold. Lorraine took to Instagram to show off her look before a night out and wore a sleek black playsuit, completing her look with some trendy strapped heels.

Fans have been left impressed by her weight loss journey as the star looks worlds away from her character, who wore oversized shirts and jogging bottoms. Last year she announced she shifted almost a stone in a few months and shared her secrets after managing to cut out some problem foods.

Lorraine has been open about slimming down, recently revealing her transformation on social media. Sharing photos of her slimmed-down look on Instagram, she said: "Thank you @louiseappelpt I'm feeling fantastic!!! You're the best PT #personaltrainer #fitat40something #toning #weighttrainingforwomen #igotthis."

On ITV's Lorraine, the actress shared how she lost weight. She said: "I've lost 12lbs in six weeks. My mate Louisa is my fitness guru, I've got her to thank for it. She talks about nutrition. I've eaten a lot of boiled eggs, fish, chicken. No carbs, no crisps and chocolate. I'm enjoying it and I feel better for it."

Speaking openly to The Sun about her soap exit, she expressed her sadness at leaving the show and her EastEnders family but was eager to see what new opportunities lay ahead. She hinted that she might take on a role in rival soap Coronation Street - and it got fans talking.

She said: "I think it would have to be Corrie and I would have to be the new landlady. I'd be Gemma's [Winter] auntie, Bernie's sister. I'd be in their family and I'd take over The Rovers." Announcing the news over the summer, she wrote: "Thank you to Daran Little for creating the Taylors and to the BBC for giving me the opportunity to play such a fabulous character.

"I’ll be sad to be saying goodbye to Karen Taylor and will miss all the cast and crew at EastEnders." Lorraine has since shared an update with her fans about life after the soap, as she posted the reality of trying to find new work. The actress admitted she was being "highly critical" as she "struggled" with having to try out for new jobs after seven years on the soap.

She shared a photo of a makeshift audition room in her loft where she had been recording tapes for other roles. Lorraine wrote: "Self tape setup in the loft, I'm so not technical but I'm proud I've managed to set it up all by myself, with advice on equipment by @_zack_morris. Just finished one and its hard work...I'll get there, it's a struggle watching yourself back & not being highly critical on yourself... just let it go & send it." She then added "#sent," to confirm she took the brave step of sending off her audition.
