Beyonce's veteran uncle has died aged 77.

Queen B's mum Tina Knowles announced the news to her 4million followers on Instagram during the early hours of Monday. She shared a sweet snap of her Air Force brother Butch, writing that he "had the most beautiful green eyes and good looks".

She penned: "My Beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend. I will miss him so much ! He was a career Airforce man . He loved riding Motorcycles was a black Belt in Karate and had the most beautiful green eyes and good looks."

"He was a great story teller," Tina added. "He had an incredible wife Jeanette and devoted daughter Dana two beautiful grandchildren Yvette and Roland. He was greatly loved. Sail on Butch Rowland Martin (Butch) Buyince' June 1946 - Feb 2024 RIP."

Fans flocked to the post's comments section, adding to Tina's tributes. With one writing: "Wow…I see a lot of Julez in his face. So sorry for your loss mama T." Another added: "Sending prayers, love and light to you and yours @mstinaknowles."

Someone else said: "Y’all Got Some Strong Genes ‘Cause He Look Like Beyoncé. May This Beautiful Brotha Rest in Peace." A fourth replied: "Beyoncé has his ears! Your family’s side takes NO NAPS when it comes to genetics! Sheesh! May he RIP, and I’m sorry for your family’s loss." Another concluded: "Rest Well to your gorgeous big bro…"

Tina was last seen with her Texas Hold 'Em hitmaker daughter only days ago at New York Fashion Week. The pair attended the Luar RTW Fall 2024 event on February 13.

It comes after Beyone's latest hit single has gone down in history as she is the first Black woman to ever reach number one on the Hot Country Songs chart. This week, BeyHives were beyond proud of the famous pop singer as she has reached yet another unbelievable milestone in her music career.

The 42-year-old singer made country music history as she reached the top of the charts replacing Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgrave's chart-topping hit I Remember Everything which sat at number one for 20 weeks. Her latest release was met with 19.2 million streams from listeners and has already made 39,000 sales in the U.S. as of February 15.

The 32-time Grammy award-winning singer recently announced that she will be releasing an entirely country-inspired album with two singles Texas Hold 'Em and Carriages already out now. After the announcement that Beyonce had made country history, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, raving over the incredible achievement.

One fan wrote: "Beyoncé is officially Number 1! On the country charts now! A black women at that... Beyoncé's has officially took over country Music and y'all just gotta deal with it y'all probably are not gonna catch it till it's too late but music History is being made."

Another added: "Beyonce's Texas Hold Em song is amazing...can't get it out of my head...she's better than Swift...omg...love her new country music." And a third wrote: "Beyoncé has taken the Black Cowboys and Black Cowgirls to a whole new level! I’m going to have to get some boots, a hat, and go to a Black Rodeo now!"
