Love Island's Chris Taylor says All Stars cast often got shouted at by producers on the ITV2 show

Since leaving the South African villa, Chris Taylor has certainly not held back when it comes to spilling all the behind the scene secrets of Love Island.

And now, during a Q&A session with fans on Instagram, Chris has revealed that the All Stars cast were often "boll***ed" for not remaining still while filming in between speeches during recoupling scenes. In the video posted to his stories, he said filming the recoupling scenes would take "three to four hours". He went on to say: "Basically in between every speech or text they have to get shots for like ten or fifteen minutes and we have to remain absolutely silent and still and not move. "

Basically everyone in there had ADHD. So just loads of like laughing and fidgeting and we got boll**ed all the time for that - it's not an easy job." While in the villa, Chris thought he had formed a connection with fellow islander Joanna Chimonides but she was forced to let him down gently as she felt she had feelings for Callum Jones.

Chris and Joanna first met on series five of Love Island in 2019. But in this year's spin off series he only lasted 26 days before getting dumped from the villa. Meanwhile Joanna arrived at the villa on the sixteenth day but was ditched nine days later.

But despite not finding love with each other the pair put on a united front when it came to slamming producers of the ITV2 show. They claimed that show bosses treated the female contestants differently to the males. They revealed female contestants were made to stay in a run down hotel in South Africa after they had been flown back to the filming location.

Speaking to Heat magazine's Under The Duvet podcast, Chris also said that bosses banned the boys and girls from mixing together. He said: "They don't let us cross paths in the slightest." And Joanna backed up his claim, saying: "We were kept apart the whole time."

Chris continued: "[The boys] were in a lovely hotel, [the girls} were in a less lovely hotel, with seagulls pooing in their pool." Confirming his revealing comment, Joanna said:"Us girls had landed, the boys hadn't yet landed in South Africa and Chris sent me the hotel they were staying in and I was like, 'Why are we not staying there?'

She added: "“We were staying in like a hotel that wasn't as great and so we called up the producers and were like, 'The boys haven't landed yet, let's [switch] hotels'." Even though All Stars came to an end recently, Love Island fans won’t have too long before it's back on our screens as it's reportedly airing early summer.

ITV are currently looking for brand new contestants who are aged 18 and over. Over the past five weeks Love Island fans sat back and watched Molly Smith and Tom Clare walk off with cash prize after being crowned winners of the All Stars series.
