Devil Wears Prada fans elated as Meryl, Anne and Emily reunite at SAG
Movie fans were left jumping for joy after they saw the cast of Devil Wears Prada reunited at the 2024 SAG Awards.
The prestigious event took place at the in Los Angeles on Saturday at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall and fans were treated to a very special appearance from Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway as they joined forces to present an award on the night. The trio had excited fans rushing to X to comment as they delivered a comical sketch and movie lovers couldn't believe their luck.
Taking to social media to gush about the big moment viewers of the ceremony - which was broadcast live on Netflix - fans couldn't contain themselves as they watched the three powerhouse actresses on the stage. One fan wrote: "THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA REUNION IN 2024 I'M SCREAMING!!!!!"

A fourth social media user demanded: "SO ICONIC now i need them to give me the devil wears prada 2." A fifth happily noted: "SAG awards singlehandedly reunited the cast of breaking bad, modern family AND the devil wears prada??"
As she took to the stage at the bash Meryl asked: "It is an age old question, where does the character end and the actor begin?" Joining her with Anne Emily then responded: "Well as we see Miranda Priestley and Meryl Streep are like twins," as she referenced the iconic character from the hit 2006 movie.

The Devil Wears Prada was a huge box office hit and saw Meryl earning her own awards nominations at both the SAG Awards and the Oscars.
The actress played a Runway magazine editor with Anne playing her naive new assistant Andrea Sachs and following her story as she navigated the tricky and often cruel world of the fashion magazine industry. The movie was thought to be loosely based on iconic Vogue editor Anna Wintour and her career at the top of the business.
The movie won an army of fans around the globe thanks to it's star-studded cast and plethora of witty lines and comical moments.
