Celebrity Big Brother bosses are reportedly eyeing up another familiar X Factor star to join the line-up for the show, a report claims.

There's just over a week left until the new series kicks off on ITV, and fans are already gearing up for an exciting few weeks of reality television. It has already been rumoured that some familiar faces will be gracing our screens in a matter of days, with the likes of Love Island's Ekin-Su, TOWIE's Chloe Brockett, and former This Morning star Ferne Britton reportedly set to enter the iconic house on March 4.

It has also been rumoured that former judge Louis Walsh will be making his comeback to our screens as a housemate on the series. However, due to strict show guidelines, his appearance will officially be confirmed on the Celebrity Big Brother launch day.

But fans could be in for one huge shocker, as Louis could be reuniting with one of his X Factor pals live on air. According to the Sun, ITV bosses are said to be in talks with Sharon Osbourne to convince her to go on the show.

The publication reports that the 71-year-old is set to fly to the UK next week from the US where she lives with rocker hubby Ozzy. A source said: "Landing Sharon is a huge coup for the series, especially as she has such a strong on-screen partnership with Louis.

"She isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and has a wealth of showbiz stories up her sleeves. She is guaranteed entertainment and sure to be a hit with viewers.

According to reports, ITV bosses have splashed out an eye-watering £2million to confirm a string of high-profile names to make this year's show one to remember.

The main show will see a new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house.

Celebrity Big Brother will be followed each night by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live - giving viewers an additional hour of exclusive content. Airing on ITV2 and ITVX, Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live will once again be the only place to watch the famous evictees first live interview alongside an array of unmissable exclusive features including access to the camera runs, special guest commentary, and debate.

The Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream will also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player, giving fans the opportunity to watch live footage into the small hours after Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live.

The Mirror has approached Sharon Osbourne's representatives for comment.
