Chloe Madeley has confessed that relentless mum-shaming by online trolls has forced her to pull her young daughter back from social media.

The 36-year-old former Dancing On Ice contestant shares one-year-old daughter Bodhi Rae Georgia with 38-year-old estranged husband James Haskell - who she split from last year after five years of marriage. Since Bodhi arrived in August 2022, Chloe has been delighting fans with photos and videos of the toddler.

But fans will soon be seeing far less of the bouncing baby girl - as Chloe has taken the decision to stop sharing as much footage and photos of her. The TV star has teased that she will continue to share social media content involving her daughter, but warns fans should brace themselves for far less than they are currently used to.

Taking to social media on Thursday, Chloe engaged in a gentle Q&A session with fans when her bombshell was dropped. She was fielding questions from her followers on Instagram and sharing her replied via the Stories setting. One fan simply asked her “How’s Bodhi?” alongside a red heart emoji. This prompted Chloe response, stating: “My little happy psycho. I won't be posting about B as much as I have many reasons why, but rest assured she is happy and healthy."

Another fan then asked Chloe why she has decided to pull Bodhi back from the limelight and the reality star admitted being trolled over her parenting skills was part of the reason. Chloe responded: "1. She's getting older and about to start nursery. 2. Some people on social media are nasty and don't see the full picture, they just look for chances to criticise.

She continued her list, adding: "3. I'm a single mum and my mental health is more important than what a stranger on social media thinks." 4. She's not just an extension of me, she's her own little person, and she deserves privacy. 5. This doesn't mean she'll be completely absent, just that it's time to take a step back."

Chloe and James shocked fans when they announced their separation last year. In a joint statement, Chloe said: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time - certainly not while the television show was airing - but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand. Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

The marriage had collapsed while they were in the middle of airing a TV show, titled A Family Affair, about their seemingly happy family life. But rumours of a split erupted when James was spotted cuddling up to a mystery blonde who was clearly not his wife. The pair have separated but have not yet finalised their divorce.
