Prince Louis was seen saying the sweetest things to his big sister, Princess Charlotte, as they passed by crowds of people on the day of the Coronation.

The little boy stole the show on the day in his typical adorable fashion thanks to his cheeky expressions, frequent yawns, and standout waves on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

And now a lip reader has revealed some of the comments made by William and Kate's youngest as he travelled to Westminster Abbey ahead of his grandfather's Coronation.

He was clearly overawed by the sheer volume of people who had turned out to line the streets to mark the historic occasion. According to the Daily Mail's lip reading expert Jacqui Press, the little royal told his sister: "Yes" before saying, "Look waving" and proceeding to wave back to the public. A short while after, he also exclaimed: "Yaaay King!"

Fans went wild for Prince Louis on Coronation Day with a huge number taking to social media to share screenshots of the five-year-old. Alongside a photo showing Princess Charlotte holding her brother's hand inside Westminster Abbey, one person enthused: "They're the only reason I've watched any of this!"

Someone else added: "Can't imagine what the royal bribe is to have Louis behave today… I [love] his spirit… he already beats to his own drum." Others were captivated by his unique wave on the Palace balcony; Louis could be seen swaying his hands out to either side of his body, before bringing them back in to meet in the middle - like windscreen wipers.

"The double-handed wave from a child is the truest sign they're done & have logged out. He's a little trooper bless [him]," one watcher wrote. And a second joked: "Petition for this to be the new official royal wave."

Louis has become known for entertaining royal fans with his reactions during royal celebrations. He was seen letting out a howl and holding his hands over his ears on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Platinum Jubilee fly-past as his great-grandmother, , told him what was happening.

Little Louis was also spotted being bounced on the knee of his grandfather, , during the Jubilee pageant and giving his mother a kiss on the cheek and a cuddle.

He stood on his chair, waved his hands in the air, stuck out his tongue, wriggled around and danced during the show last year.

In a personal tweet thanking those who turned out in 2022, William and Kate wrote: "We all had an incredible time, especially Louis…"
