Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly 'morphing back into royals' thanks to their latest rebrand and public appearances, royal commentators claim.

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly willing to return to the Royal Family on a temporary basis while King Charles receives treatment for his cancer. Harry has said he plans to return to the UK after paying a brief visit to his father earlier this month.

But the Prince of Wales is believed to have advised his father not to allow Harry's return. Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: "I've spoken to a close friend of Charles who believes that even if the king wanted to accept Harry's offer – which he does not - he is not going to do it because William is appalled at the idea: 'To say that Harry and William are not on speaking terms is to underestimate the difficulty - daggers drawn would be a better description'."

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is said to also be "absolutely against" the idea of Harry returning because there is too much "bad blood". Mr Quinn said: "Harry does miss being a working royal – being a royal is the only thing he is trained to do and he is getting very bored in California. He knows that to retain his value and the interest of the world he is better off not being a retired royal so offering to come back to help out at least reminds the world who and what he is."

King's strong comments on Putin's war in Ukraine show swift return to duties

King Charles' comments marking the anniversary of the war in Ukraine have showed a solid committment to his state duties following his recent health issues.

In a new statement on Saturday, he praised the "determination and strength" of the Ukrainian people - and blasted the Russian warmonger Vladimir Putin for his "unprovoked attack".

Meanwhile, royal commentators have claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly "morphing back into royals" as they embark on their latest rebrand and public appearances.

Their new homepage now greets visitors to the site of the 'Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex', meaning their royal titles are prominently displayed.

King Charles condemns Putin's 'indescribable aggression' on Ukraine anniversary

The King has just issued a strongly-worded condemnation of Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine on the second anniversary of the invasion.

He blasted the Russian leader's "unprovoked attack" on the nation, labelling it "indescribable aggression".

His Majesty added that he is “greatly encouraged” by the efforts of the UK and its allies in supporting Ukraine “at this time of such great suffering and need”.

Queen Elizabeth's response to Prince Louis' 'pressing question' at major royal event

Back in 2022, when celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee were in full swing, Louis' big personality was on display at each event he attended, and Trooping the Colour was no exception.

King Charles left Princess Diana 'devastated' on eve of wedding, says pal

Diana's friend and astrologer, Penny Thornton, who worked closely with the princess, claims Charles told his fiancee that he didn't love her.

Speaking on ITV documentary The Diana Interview: Revenge Of A Princess, she said: "One of the most shocking things that Diana told me was that the night before the wedding Charles told her that he didn't love her..."

Charles wasn't apparently the only one with doubts - Diana was also said to have second thoughts and told her sisters before the wedding.

In his book Diana: Her True Story, Andrew Morton wrote Diana said: "I can't marry him, I can't do this, this is absolutely unbelievable. They allegedly told her it was too late to pull out because "your face is [already] on the tea towels".

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big rebrand 'being rejected', expert claims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's rebrand is getting "rejected by the world", it has been claimed.

Following the couple's website rebrand and various public appearances over the last couple of weeks, royal commentator Josh Rom spoke to Sky News Australia to share how the UK is reacting to the rebrand.

Speaking on the network, Mr Rom said: "The 'grifter' word comes to mind with this because this is them trying to keep in with this institution in some way, shape or form. Let's be honest, that's the only way in which they're going to retain relevancy and, you know, the only reason why people pay them any sort of attention is because of the role in which this institution provided for them."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'losing sleep' over complicated visa case

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be in “big trouble” as his US visa application is put under intense scrutiny, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex’s visa application is to be addressed during a trial in the US, after the conservative think-tank The Heritage Foundation demanded Harry’s application be made public to reveal his answers to questions regarding his drug use.

In his 2023 memoir Spare, the father-of-two admitted he had taken drugs, and the think tank has taken the case to court in an effort to uncover if the prince was truthful about his past during his application.

Royal expert Tom Quinn said Harry “could be in big trouble” with the impending court case, and any revelation about drug-taking in his book “could have any implication for his status in the United States.”

Prince Harry's drug confession may have been exaggerated to sell books

A court has reportedly been told Prince Harry's memoir cannot be seen as legal proof that the Duke took drugs - despite his confession in his memoir, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex's admission to taking drugs including cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in his autobiography caused huge outcry, and led to Conservative Washington DC think tank The Heritage Foundation asking how he had been granted entry into America in 2020.

The think tank filed a lawsuit against the Department for Homeland Security (DHS) after a Freedom of Information Act request - demanding to see his visa forms - was rejected. The hearing is currently taking place in Washington DC, but government lawyer John Bardo told a DC court “the book isn’t sworn testimony or proof” that the Duke of Sussex did in fact take illegal drugs.

King Charles' succession plans 'in motion'

King Charles is believed to be working on his succession planning, but it's being kept "highly secret" from his son Prince Harry.

The monarch was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month after undergoing hospital treatment for a separate issue. The King's illness is believed to have led to the planning which centres around his son Prince William, according to royal expert and author Tom Quinn.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Tom said the Prince of Wales is "at the heart of the succession planning", but "no one trusts Harry". The distrust is said to have come about following Harry's media interviews and attacks on the Royal Family in his debut memoir, Spare.

Prince Harry 'outraged' Camilla with his behaviour during Charles visit

Prince Harry left Queen Camilla "outraged" during his visit to his father, King Charles, earlier this month and asked him to leave, a source has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex flew from California to the UK one day after the monarch's cancer diagnosis was confirmed publicly. Harry spent around half an hour with his father at Clarence House and despite their brief encounter, Charles was reportedly overwhelmed by his youngest son's return to the UK.

After the meeting, the King was pictured looking visibly emotional as he left Clarence House. And days later, Harry said during an interview with Good Morning America he was "grateful" to spend time with his father, declaring: "I love my family."

Harry and Meghan didn't consult royals before 'exploitative' new website

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sparked controversy by launching a new website boasting their links to the royal family.

The major rebrand, four years after their decision to quit their royal roles in favour of making millions in the corporate world, links to their former ‘Sussex Royal’ website which they were banned from using by the late Queen. Under the terms of an agreement struck with Buckingham Palace, Harry and Meghan can use their Duke and Duchess titles but cannot use HRH in their commercial endeavours

Harry and Meghan left the royal family to seek “financial freedom” and quickly set about signing commercial deals with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify for an estimated £100million. But their decision to quietly launch a Sussex.com site, using Meghan’s coat of arms and detailing their children's prince and princess titles, was last night branded “exploitative in the extreme”.

Buckingham Palace did not comment but The Mirror understands the couple did not consult palace officials before launching the new endeavour.

Harry and Meghan 'morphing back into royals'

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sensationally quit their royal roles, it was believed it was for good.

But sources close to the Duke of Sussex have reportedly said he is willing to return to royal duties on a temporary basis while King Charles receives treatment for cancer. However, it might not be that easy for Harry. That's because it has also been reported the arrangement he accepted when stepping down as a working royal alongside Meghan in 2020 is set to remain in place. However, regardless of whether a return to royal life - whether that be on a part-time or temporary basis - is on the cards, the couple has appeared in recent weeks to be shifting more towards their royal beginnings, and even morphing more and more back into royal-esque roles...

One major sign that the couple is slowly reverting to their royal roles is featured on their brand new website, sussex.com. The homepage greets visitors to the site of the 'Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex', meaning their royal titles are prominently displayed.

King Charles' joy at wellwishers' 7,000 cards - as young fan urges 'never give up' in cancer fight

The King has been urged by a young royal fan who sent him a get well soon card to “never give up”, following his cancer diagnosis.

Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have sent Charles personal messages of hope after it was revealed he is battling the disease.

The 75-year-old monarch this week confessed to the Prime Minister during their weekly audience that the outpouring of support “brings me to tears”, after viewing a selection of the more than 7,000 cards he has received in recent weeks.

Buckingham Palace said the King had taken great comfort in receiving the heartfelt messages, adding: “they have also been a source of frequent laughter and good cheer”.

In a new video posted tonight on the royal family social media channels, Charles is pictured sitting at a desk in a room in Buckingham Palace’s Belgian Suite chuckling at a card illustrated with a picture of a dog wearing a collar after receiving medical treatment.

The message shows the disgruntled terrier-like dog feeling sorry for itself, telling him “at least you don’t have to wear a cone!”. Royal aides said one card which the sovereign was especially emboldened by was sent from a youngster who wrote, “Never give up. Be brave. Don’t push your limits. Get Well Soon.’"

Harry to reunite with Charles?

Harry said he was told the news of his dad's cancer by the King himself and jumped on a plane straight away to see him.

He said he felt lucky to have been able to visit his dad following the diagnosis and added: "Look I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him I'm grateful for that."

And telling he hinted that there could be a reconciliation between them and stuck to the royals' policy of discretion by refusing to talk about his dad's condition, saying "that stays between us".

When asked if the diagnosis could have a "reunifying effect" amid their feud, Harry added: "Yeah, I'm sure. Throughout all these families I see it on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness brings families together."

Harry has vowed to return to the UK

And even though Meghan's appearance in the UK was virtual, Harry has hinted at more trips he will undertake to his homeland.

Earlier this month, he came to the UK on a whistlestop trip to visit his father in the wake of his cancer diagnosis. Last week, in a candid interview with Good Morning America, just a few days after seeing his father for the first time in months, Harry vowed to return to his native England in an effort to stay in regular contact with his family.

"I’ve got other trips planned that would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can," he told Good Morning America reporter Will Reeve.

Meghan's London charity engagement was royal-esque

Since moving to the United States, Harry and Meghan have courted big money deals with several huge entertainment platforms, including Netflix.

But the couple has still kept tabs on some of the charities they supported during their time in the Royal Family.

And just this week, Meghan made a royal-style video appearance at a ceremony for a London-based charity.

Such moves are very close to the sort of engagements Harry and Meghan would take part in as working royals - another possible clue they are eyeing a return to the Firm.

Striking coat of arms also indicator of Harry and Meghan reverting

As well as the Duke and Duchess' titles being front and centre, Meghan's coat of arms is also featured on the new site in a clear nod to the couple's royal days.

She was granted the coat of arms back in 2018 before she married Harry.

The shield's blue background stands for the Pacific Ocean by California, and the two golden stripes mean the sunny skies of Meghan's Los Angeles home. The three quills on the shield stand for about how important words and talking are.

But royal experts have pointed out a flaw with the design. Royal historian Hugo Vickers added: "The coat of arms used by the Sussexes is also outdated and redundant having five points of the label, signifying the grandchild of the monarch, rather than three points, denoting Harry as the King's son."

Harry and Meghan's titles are prominent on their website

One major sign that Harry and Meghan are slowly reverting to their royal roles is featured on their brand new website, sussex.com. The homepage greets visitors to the site of the 'Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex', meaning their royal titles are prominently displayed.

Under the terms of an agreement struck with Buckingham Palace over four years ago, Harry and Meghan can use their Duke and Duchess titles but cannot use HRH in their commercial endeavours. But even though it seems they have stuck to the terms of this agreement, some have questioned why they have used their titles so prominently.

Esteemed royal historian Hugo Vickers told the Mirror: "It goes against everything the Sussexes promised they would not do. They are trading on their royal titles and associations in every way you look at it."

Prince William finally 'getting his chance' to fulfil 'royal apprenticeship' while King is ill, says expert

A former royal butler says Prince William "getting his chance" to step into his father's shoes temporarily will be like an apprenticeship.

Grant Harold, speaking on new video series Lord Ping's Royal Treatment, was asked how the Prince of Wales will take to this new-found responsibility with King Charles undergoing cancer treatment.

He said: “I think William will do an amazing job of stepping up for his father. People forget he's now in his forties. People still see him as quite young. But his grandmother was mid twenties, maybe 25 or 26 when she became Queen.

"That's such a young age. So in comparison, William is far more experienced with what he's already done.

"But again, it's still a big task to take on. His father is still obviously King but has to cut back on some of the duties and I think William will do an excellent job, fulfill those duties and in time, depending on how long the treatment takes, his wife the Princess of Wales will be there to support him as well.

“I think William will make himself more accessible in the coming months and years ahead, and it's been a natural progression. While he was studying at St. Andrews, and even initially in his work as a helicopter pilot, from the public point of view, it was very minimal.

"His focus was his career, his education. And so it's only in the last decade that he's undertaken more royal duties. I suppose for him, it's still a learning experience. He's still getting to grips with what's expected of him, but it's good he’s getting this chance to step up where his father is unable to do it.

"Because it’s a good little bit of apprenticeship for him, just to give them a taste of one day what it will be like full time.”

Succession planning for post-King Charles has had to begin early, says expert

Succession planning for after King Charles has had to begin much earlier than planned amid his cancer diagnosis, a royal expert claims.

Author Tom Quinn said it was assumed the monarch, 75, "would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties" before such steps needed to begin - however, his battle with the disease has speeded up the process.

Tom told the Mirror: "Charles is also aware that, as future king, William is at the heart of the succession planning that is taking place right now – officials had assumed Charles would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties before succession planning would need to begin but in fact it has now begun and indicates perhaps that Charles’ cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe.

"Succession planning is highly secret and no one trusts Harry to be part of it for the simple reason that if he feels in any way slighted or not given what he feels he deserves he will run straight to the media." Harry caused a stir when he released Spare as he hit out at a number of his family members.

Edward VIII 'was not welcome in England after abdication' like Prince Harry, says expert

Royal author Tom Quinn has pointed to Edward VIII as a similar figure to how Prince Harry is being seen within the Firm.

The late Duke of Westminster abdicated after falling in love with American divorcee Wallis Simpson.

Tom told the Mirror: "Look at Edward VIII after the abdication. It was made clear to him that he was not welcome in England because he might steal George VI's thunder.

"William, who is quiet and more fixed on his destiny and on adopting the never-explain-never-complain rule of his grandmother, does not want a glamorous, unstable brother around even temporarily – a brother who might at any time fly off the handle and write Spare II."

Prince William 'has advised King not to allow Prince Harry back', says expert

Prince William is believed to have advised his father King Charles not to allow Prince Harry's return into the royal fold.

He continued: "William has advised his father not to allow Harry back – partly because he finds his brother so difficult but mainly because Harry has broken the royal code of silence so often in the past. Royal trouble makers – and that's how Harry is seen by William and to some extent also by Charles – have traditionally been kept at arms’ length by the family."

Lady Louise Windsor 'doubtful' to become working royal due to 'common complaint', says expert

The King and Princess of Wales' recent health scares have prompted the question of whether several younger family members could step in to balance the load alongside the likes of Queen Camilla and Princess Anne.

One candidate many royal fans have put forward is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Lady Louise Windsor. The 19-yar-old daughter to the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh is currently at St Andrews University and has largely grown up away from the public eye.

But according to royal expert Jennie Bond, it seems an unlikely proposition - and it mainly boils down to two reasons. The former BBC royal correspondent told OK! magazine she was "doubtful" that Lady Louise would "ever become a full-time working royal", partly because, she said, "I’m not sure she would want to". She said: "Extra working royals would mean extra staff, extra administration, extra security – extra cost. And that is not the direction that either the King or William want to take."

Harry will only return to the royal fold if King Charles asks him, claims source

Harry said he was "grateful" to see Charles earlier this month and declared during a Good Morning America interview: "I love my family." However, it's been reported Harry's return to the royal fold will only happen if his father asks him.

A source said "he would try" to help out if his father asked him to, telling Page Six : "I have a hard time believing if his dad asks for his help that Harry would say no, I think he would try." But the insider added: "I don't think it's something that Harry would ask [to do] on his own."

Meghan Markle seems to be advancing in her Hollywood career as she was spotted having dinner with a top TV executive.

The Duchess of Sussex looked very happy as she was seen leaving a business dinner with Terry Wood, the executive producer of Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions company. The pair were spotted dining at Studio City, California, on Thursday night.

Terry produced Oprah's mental health series that Prince Harry also collaborated on, The Me You Can't See. The TV exec also worked on Harry and Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah after they left the Royal Family.

Prince Harry 'not seeing old friends' on his UK visits for sad reason

Prince Harry’s friends “don’t get to see him” during his short visits to the UK, a former royal butler has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex recently flew to London to be by the side of his father King Charles after news of his cancer diagnosis was announced, in an unexpected move that was reported to have delighted the monarch. However, his meeting with Charles at Clarence House lasted less than an hour, and Harry was back on a plane to Los Angeles later that same day. During his brief visit to his native England, the 39-year-old failed to see big brother Prince William or his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who is recovering from a major operation.

However, it was noted by former royal butler Grant Harrold that Harry also failed to meet up with any of his friends while in London, and his estrangement from his pals signals a “brand new chapter” for the prince after his relocation to the US in 2020. He assumed Harry would return to the UK for “longer visits”, but claimed the duke is so focused on his life in America with wife Meghan Markle and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet he has forgotten about his friends. “As far as I'm aware, they don't even get to see him… it’s possible his new life in the States is a brand new chapter for him and maybe that's the reason why he doesn't want to spend time here,” he explained.

Meghan Markle's emotional reason behind rare UK appearance after 'never again' promise

Meghan Markle "never felt at home" in the UK, but that didn't stop her from making a virtual return to London to pay tribute to her "dear friend" who died suddenly.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry moved to America four years ago, with Meghan yet to set foot in the UK again. Royal author Omid Scobie explained in his book Endgame that Meghan has no intention of ever returning to England.

The former Suits star sent a personal video message in memory of dog trainer and close friend Oli Juste, who died suddenly in January 2022. The animal behaviourist had introduced Meghan to the Mayhew animal charity, leading to her becoming its patron for three years.

The video of Meghan was played at the unveiling of the Oli Juste Wing at Mayhew's Centre in north London on Wednesday. The charity said a "generous" donation made by Oli's "dear friend" Meghan through her Archewell Foundation has allowed them to open newly refurbished kennels.

In the clip, Meghan said: "A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Mayhew who have worked tirelessly to bring this dream to life. It was so important to find a way to celebrate Oli's memory in a manner that he would have loved. Mayhew is a beacon of hope for those in need and a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together."
