Woman famous for huge eyebrows shares transformation after ditching them

A woman who is best known for her huge eyebrows compared to an "Angry Bird" is unrecognisable after ditching her signature look.

Anzhelika Protodyakonova, from Russia, went viral back in 2018 thanks to her famously large brows - spanning across the majority of her forehead and emphasised with thick, black makeup. While she was embarrassed at first as the photo got a lot of attention, but she soon saw an opportunity and decided embrace it and started making her eyebrows bigger and bigger.

While they caused a stir and left her inundated with cruel comments, that didn't stop the 25-year-old from working with several big-name brands because of her bold look. However, fans have been left stunned after Anzhelika, who lives in Yakutsk in Russia's south-eastern Sakha Republic, decided to ditch the big brows for more natural ones. In a recent snap she shared on social media she looked much different, the Daily Star reports.

The young woman reached fame accidentally when an onlooker took a photo of her on the bus and shared it online, even though back then Anzhelika says they were no comparison to the whoppers she boasts now. The photo quickly spread over social media and gained her online recognition.

In recent snaps, shared with her 102,000 Instagram followers, Anzhelika decided to go for a more glamorous look. She snapped a picture from a night out – and fans love her new look. "Oh beautiful, without those eyebrows," one individual said. Another said: "A real beauty, I'm happy for you." "Very beautiful without those eyebrows," commented another.

What's more, Anzelikha posted a picture wearing natural makeup as well as a plunging black top and leather jacket and styled her long black hair straight. The biggest change has to be her eyebrows which are now defined and dainty.

The social media star's lifestyle also appears to have changed; now centered less around about her appearance and more around experiences. She's become a food influencer who is often pictured eating at different restaurants.

While many have gone wild for the transformation, some seem to miss her unique look. Earlier this year, fans called on Anzhelika to revive her unique eyebrows again. One commented on her page: "Come on, make your eyebrows unusual." And another added: "Where are you Angie? We lost our star."
