Kelce's Super Bowl outburst audio 'blocked by Reid' in formal request
The audio from Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce's furious outburst at Andy Reid during Super Bowl LVIII may never see the light of day. That is because the team's coach has requested the soundbite not be released.
Kelce lost his temper with Reid in the second quarter of the game against the San Francisco 49ers. The incident was so heated that Reid was nearly knocked over.
This incident happened while the eyes of the world were watching - Taylor Swift included. Despite this, Reid took the incident in stride, praising Kelce after their 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers. It was the third time in five years the Chiefs had taken home the Super Bowl title.
People expected to hear Kelce's outburst on "Inside the NFL ", but the audio was never broadcasted. An extended programme of the Super Bowl, which features live audio from players, missed out on including this exchange. It is believed the actual recording may never be aired, according to the New York Post.

Even though lots of memorable moments were recorded during the match, fans quickly noticed that one incident wasn't covered fully- the encounter between No. 87 and Coach Reid. A clip was shown on "Inside the NFL" but without sound.
Instead, CBS colour commentator Tony Romo's voice was heard, suggesting that Kelce wanted to stay in the game. Analysts Channing Crowder, Chris Long, and Ryan Clark were also heard. But according to some people high up in the world of sports media, the Chiefs stopped NFL Films from recording the full moment - one of them said it was because of Coach Reid.
Despite all this drama, the Kansas City Chiefs still went on to win their match, with Kelce playing a key role. This made them the first team to win two Super Bowls in a row since the New England Patriots did it 20 years ago.
Now, they're hoping to become the first team ever to win the Super Bowl three times in a row. Even after such an amazing win at Super Bowl LVIII, there are still many questions about what happened with Kelce.
Coach Reid talked about the incident: "He caught me off balance. I wasn't watching. It was a cheap shot, but it's alright. He did good. He was really coming over to tell me, 'Put me in. I'll score. I'll score.' That is really what it was. Well. I love that. I mean, it's not the first time, so listen, I appreciate it."
Kelce did, however, show a more serious side during the celebrations at Allegiant Stadium. But the NFL star couldn't resist jokes as well. "Oh, I was just telling him how much I love him," he admitted, speaking about his fun encounter with Scott Swift.
