Pregnant Lucy Watson teases unborn baby's traditional name and shares birth plan
Former Made In Chelsea star Lucy Watson has teased the name of her unborn child - sharing the first letter of their name.
The 32-year-old reality star is expecting her first child with 34-year-old husband James Dunmore - who also starred on the E4 show. The couple tied-the-knot in a lavish ceremony in 2021 and announced last year that they are set to become parents.
Fans have been begging Lucy for details about her pregnancy and for a hint about the name of their child. And now the reality star has revealed that she and James have mostly settled on the name for their incoming bundle of joy.
Taking to Instagram this week, Lucy shared a snap of herself- with her neck visible in the snap. She had a necklace around her neck that was gold in colour and included the letter ‘W’ in a square box - which she went on to explain was in tribute to her future child.
Sharing the snap via her Stories, Lucy added a caption stating: “Little hint for baby’s name” alongside a shushing emoji. She went on to host a Q&A session with her fans online where she shared more details of her parenting hopes and her pregnancy experience.
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportLucy declared that she and James were “90% sure” of the name they had decided - which she also claimed is: “very uncommon but traditional at the same time.” She added: “I’m sure but James isn't 100% but I'm the decisive one and he hates making decisions.”
Another follower asked: “When did your pregnancy sickness ease?” And Lucy replied: “I did get prescribed anti-sickness medication from my doctor which helped a lot but I didn't love taking it unless it was really bad. I basically did nothing for the first few months and ate whatever I could stomach... Mine eased off around 14 weeks.”
Lucy was then asked if she is nervous about giving birth, and she replied: “Yes!! The bigger he grows the more excited I get, but there's always that voice in the back of my head ‘he's going to have to come out of there at some point' and it does terrify me.”
Lucy was also asked about her plans for giving birth and she gave details. She wrote: “I don’t think I will be making a plan. We have decided to go the private route, consultant led. This wasn’t an easy decision for us as it is costly. Of course I would love to have a natural birth, but I’m really open minded to whatever feels best for me and baby when the time comes.”
Lucy and James struggled to conceived - and she previously said that they faced “bad news after bad news” in their journey to get pregnant. She previously said: “I am basically so grateful for where I am today. I'm pregnant with my son. Obviously I know this journey could end tomorrow, or the next day like I don't know how long this is going to last or if it if we'll make it to the end or get to the point of having a baby in arms.
“But I'm just joying enjoying every moment and just living for every day because we've fought to get here and we are so grateful to be here. I'm just choosing to love every moment really and it's surreal, still to this day it is surreal but it is the most amazing feeling and I really hope that anyone out there who is struggling gets to experience it too and I hope that this video has helped.”
