Irish Wish starring Lindsay Lohan will be arriving to Netflix on March 15 and fans finally have a glimpse into the spectacular wedding fantasy with the latest trailer.

Lindsay plays a young woman named Maddie who finds herself in a romcom fairytale. Netflix wrote: "When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland.

"Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”

This magical tale sees Maddie get total heart eyes for Paul Kennedy who is played by Alexander Vlahos. However, his star powers start to become an issue, especially as Maddie gets butterflies for the comical photographer, played by James Thomas.

In this classic romcom, Maddie navigates her new life before she eventually will need to set everything straight. Of course, it won't be quite as easy as it seems. Considering Lindsay is no stranger to life-swap story lines after playing Anna Coleman in Freaky Friday, the movie is set to be a total success.

Fans are thrilled to be revisiting the tried and true art form of the romantic comedy. One wrote: "Okay love it but what it is with early 2000s songs swarming in all the new rom-coms."

"Looks predictable. But yeah. I'll watch this," wrote another fan while others were just excited to see Lindsay back on their screens. A third added: "Real cinema is back."

There weren't many complaints coming from fans, but if Hollywood is hoping to resurrect the romcom genre then they'll need to be careful about one thing. A recent movie, Exmas, got caught using a stunt double, according to fans. They're hoping Irish Wish doesn't have the same quirky fate. One said: "Cute. I hope they don’t use double again for Lindsay in the kiss scenes. Like they did in that Robbie Amell movie recently."

This is Lindsay's first movie of the year following 2023's Falling for Christmas, another Netflix movie. IMDb explains: "In the days leading up to Christmas, a young and newly engaged heiress experiences a skiing accident. After being diagnosed with amnesia, she finds herself in the care of the handsome lodge owner and his daughter."
