Georgia Harrison furious as Anton mentions Stephen Bear during Love Island final
Georgia Harrison got quite frustrated with her partner during Monday night's Love Island All Stars final when Anton Danyluk claimed she was "heartbroken" upon entering the villa earlier this year.
Anton, who finished in 5th place with Georgia during the ITV2 series big finale, was seemingly referring to Georgia's former boyfriend Stephen Bear, who was released from prison during her time on the show. Love Island host Maya Jama was forced to intervene following Anton's awkward quip, explaining how Georgia was instead "healing" rather than being "heartbroken" over a romantic relationship.
Bear was sentenced to 21 months in prison in March last year after uploading a private video of himself and Georgia without her permission. It resulted in him being found guilty of voyeurism and disclosing private, sexual photographs and videos. Bear made £40,000 by posting the clip on the adult site, OnlyFans in 2020.
The disgraced reality TV star was released from prison in January this year, just 11 months into his 21 months sentence. Georgia was in Love Island's South African villa as the one-time Celebrity Big Brother became a free man and returned to the outside world following his stint behind bars.
During the Love Island All Stars final on Monday night, Anton suggested Georgia was "heartbroken" at the start of the series as the pair chatted with host Maya. Georgia responded to Anton: "Did you have to bring that up?" She said: "I wasn't..." before Maya chimed in and stated: "She had something else she was healing from."
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and Tanyel"Oh no, Anton brought up Bear. So awkward #loveislandallstars," one Love Island fan wrote on Twitter (X) as they watched Molly Smith and Tom Clare crowned the first All Stars winning couple. Another spotted the awkward moment, tweeting: "Anton said that Georgia was heartbroken before she entered the villa. G then said she has been healing. Then either Maya or Anton uttered 'Bear' (camera panned out so wasn't sure who). It was a tumbleweed moment."
Georgia courageously gave up her right to anonymity to shine a light on being the victim of image-based sexual abuse (sometimes referred to as 'revenge porn'). During her stay in the Love Island villa, Georgia never brought up her traumatic experience but there were instances where she chose not to disrobe in the hideaway or participate in the Heart Rate challenge.
Before joining the All Stars villa, Georgia shared: "I'm all for being in bed with someone and having kisses and cuddles. I wasn't sexually active the first time round, but this time I'm very aware that I am a role model for young women out there so to be honest I would like to keep my experience PG and that is my intention for the show quite frankly. I am really proud of how I've held myself in the media up until now. I took all this into account when deciding to go in as my campaigning is going so well and I'm really making strides in the political sector."
