Kerry Katona has shared her heartache over her baby dreams coming to an end and admitted she doesn't see herself having a child with her fiance, Ryan Mahoney.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, who already has five children from past relationships, revealed that she and Ryan, who doesn't have any biological children, have thought about having a baby through surrogacy - confessing it's "now or never" when it comes to having another baby.

Speaking in a new interview, Kerry explained how she's thought about having her eggs frozen this summer, "as a birthday present for Ryan", then going down the surrogacy route, but admits they both see IVF as more of an option rather than a priority. The mum-of-five also admitted she is still experiencing PTSD symptoms following the birth of her youngest child.

After welcoming daughter Dylan-Jorge into the world almost a decade ago, Kerry was on life support for four days following her difficult birth nearly 10 years ago. The thought of being pregnant again is just something Kerry isn't prepared to take on, after nearly dying last time.

Knowing she can't conceive a child naturally with her partner Ryan, Kerry has told OK! magazine: "I don't want to deprive him in fact, I've given him a pass and said, 'If this is something you want to pursue, leave me now!' I never want someone to not have that feeling of having their own child. But I feel like I should be enough for a man. Maybe many moons ago I'd have done it for a man, but not any more. Me and my kids should be enough for Ryan, and actually, I know we are."

With five "amazing" children and a husband-to-be who loves her, Kerry said she would rather focus on what she has than add a new baby to the "mayhem" at home, and claimed she's a totally different person these days. "Years ago, I was so desperate to be loved, I'd have done anything, but I'm not the same person I was 10 years ago," she said. "I was trying so hard to be the perfect wife and mother. My first marriage was so fairy-tale, and I kept trying to recreate that. Now, I should be more than enough. If I'm not, Ryan can always go off with a younger model and have a baby with her!"

Kerry went on to reveal that she and Ryan, 35, booked an appointment at a fertility clinic recently, but something came up and they had to cancel. The most recent fertility tests they had were three years ago when, she added, Ryan's sperm count came back fine, and the doctor told Kerry she had "about six viable eggs".

Kerry is already mum to Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 21, who she shares with her first husband, Westlife star Brian McFadden, and also has Heidi, 17, and Max, 15, from her marriage to Mark Croft. Kerry had her youngest, Dylan-Jorge - who Ryan is in the process of officially adopting - with her late ex-husband, George Kay, who died aged 39 in 2019 following an overdose.
