Bradley Walsh is teaming up with a host of big-name pals to bring a huge one-night event to the Palladium - and vowed it'll be a 'ministry of mayhem!'

The Chase host will be joined by EastEnders stars Shane Ritchie and Brian Connolly as well as much-loved funnyman Joe Pasquale next month. He will join his friends on stage for a night sure to be packed full of giggles after taking to Instagram to announce the big news this afternoon.

He got fans into the mood, saying the stage union has been many years in the making. He wrote: "It’s finally happened! I’m so proud to announce that after nearly 40 years of knowing each other we are going to do a one nighter at The Palladium . Saturday 30th of March . We’ve got a 15 piece Big Band , songs , gags , Lord knows what’s going to happen."

He told his followers how they can join them for the show, and made quite a promise, adding: "Get a ticket and witness one of THE GREATEST nights . The ministry of mayhem !!! Tickets on sale at LWTheatres.co.uk . See ya there everyone . More posts to let you know how the show is coming along. Lots of love Brad."

The show is sure to be a nice earner for the the popular presenter, who has been speaking about some difficult times in his life. Bradley - who is hosting Gladiators alongside his 26-year-old son Barney - says his mother had to work multiple jobs to feed their family. And he himself didn’t have much before his career in the spotlight began.

However, the TV star says he inherited his own hard working attitude from his mother and is proud of the career, success and money he has created throughout his life. The actor and TV host was in a reflective mood while discussing this life in an interview. He told The Telegraph all about it last month.

Brad said: "I'm from a working-class background. I was born in Watford, and grew up in a council house… My mother was a single parent, who had to struggle hard to make ends meet. At one point she was holding down three different jobs. It was a happy childhood but we certainly didn't have a great deal of money." He added: "I think I've inherited my mother's attitude, that hard work will pay off."

Now Bradley is believed to have a net worth of approximately £18.6 million, and is reportedly the 'richest UK solo TV host’. A source previously told The Sun in July last year: "Bradley really is at the top of his game right now and is raking it in. He's firmly established himself at the top of his profession and is the go-to man for both the BBC and ITV. And that shows no signs of slowing down either, as viewers can't get enough of him."
