Meghan Markle laughed as Michael Buble playfully warned people to “stay out of Prince Harry’s way” during an impromptu concert.

The Feeling Good hitmaker performed at a lavish gala dinner to mark the end of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to Vancouver and Whistler in Canada, and ended up cracking a few jokes about Harry as he performed a personalised version of Frank Sinatra’s iconic hit My Way. Taking to the stage before the 39-year-old delivered a speech, the Canadian crooner’s rewritten track was peppered with lyrics dedicated to Harry, which left Meghan in hysterics.

Wrapping up their Canadian trip with a dinner alongside 200 guests, Michael’s alternative version of My Way began with a sweet reference to Meghan’s nickname for her husband, as he sang: “She calls him H, we call him Harry.” The 42-year-old then touched the side of his face when Michael crooned: “It's true, Harry it's you. Your follow through opens hope's doorway.”

But they both laughed when the chart-topping musician sang: “When passions flow, one thing we know, stay the hell out of your way.” Meghan gently rubbed her husband’s back and shoulder as she and the other guests laughed at the risque lyric, which could be a reference to his explosive memoir Spare that was released last year.

Michael also sang about their relocation to the US, as said: “It's clear the home you hold dear is Montecito,” prompting Harry to playfully shake his head as Meghan laughed. The singer then touchingly paid tribute to Harry’s father King Charles, following news of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. “Our healing wishes to your dad.”

Looking dapper in a dark suit and black tie, Harry then took to the stage following the personalised version of My Way, and spoke passionately about the upcoming Invictus Games in 2025. His dedication to the event was palpable, and he and Meghan even extended their trip to Canada by one day so they could attend the gala dinner at the Vancouver Convention Centre alongside athletes and games’ organisers.

“This year will mark ten years of the Invictus Games. The past decade has been a testament to the power of resilience and the unbreakable spirit you all exemplify. And boy have we had fun on the way,” he began. “The Invictus Games are not just a competition; they’re a way of life, a celebration of the human spirit. The games provide a platform for us to showcase your abilities, to inspire the world, and honour the sacrifices of those we have lost.”
