Elon Musk's dad claims his son had 'knife pulled on him by a jealous husband'
Elon Musk had a knife pulled on him by an angry coworker and was held up at gunpoint by a jealous husband, according to his dad.
Electromechanical engineer 77-year-old Errol Musk has revealed his then 18-year-old son was working as a waiter at a restaurant in Canada when he was attacked after one of the other co-workers started picking on him.
The teenager tried to decelerate the scary encounter but the man refused to back down and while they squared up to each other, the co-worker pulled out a knife.

He told the man to stop but the man escalated the issue. Finally, they faced each other, and the man pulled out a knife. It was quite a scare for me here in South Africa, unable to help him, but Elon said not to worry.”

The story comes after Elon Musk reunited with his dad Errol in Texas after he attended the SpaceX launch with his ex-wife Heide and granddaughter Cora back in November.
It was the first time the pair had spoken since Errol's 70th birthday in 2016 following a tense relationship between the father and son. According to reports, Errol was surprised to receive the invitation for the SpaceX launch.

Errol was very happy to see Elon, and Elon appeared very happy to see his father," Heidi said. "They immediately sat down at Elon's table next to one another and started talking as though no time had passed," she added.
According to people at the launch it was a "touching moment" after Musk had previously described as hid as a "terrible human being" back in 2018.
"He was such a terrible human being, you have no idea," he told Rolling Stone magazine with tears running down his face.
"My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil. Almost every crime you can possibly think of, he has done. Almost every evil thing you could possibly think of, he has done. It’s so terrible, you can’t believe it."
Errol, who was once charged with manslaughter for shooting dead three men who broke into his home, was later acquitted after pleading self-defence.
However, his dad hit back at his son's comments saying: "Elon needs to grow up. He needs to get over himself. I’m not going to hit back. I’m going to wait until he comes to his senses. He’s having a tantrum, like a spoilt child. He can’t have what he wants and now I am apparently an evil monster."
