Gogglebox has been a staple for many fans over the years as its stars provide viewers with running commentary of hit TV shows and films.

And while viewers have become used the familiar faces of reality TV stars including Pete Sandiford and Izzy Warner, their partners have chosen to shy away from the spotlight. But occasionally, the TV stars reveal their life off screen on social media. And so, as the latest series aired yesterday (February 16), we take a look at the fan favourites' partners and their families, from Pete to Baasit Saddiqui and Izzy Warner, her sister Ellie and Lee Riley.

Lee Riley's boyfriend Steve

As they sit back to watch a combination of hit programmes on TV, Lee Riley and his best pal Jenny Newby have left fans in hysterics over the years with their hilarious banter. But it seems Lee has a flourishing life away from the cameras with his long term partner Steve Mail, who he has been with for 28 years.

In between filming for the popular TV show, Lee lives with Steve in Cyprus and the pair have indulged fans with insights into their home on social media, which boasts a sprawling kitchen and a cosy living room. They have also posted a snap with a swimming pool in the backdrop and captioned the picture saying: "Home is where the heart is."

Pete and his sister Sophie Sandiford have become icons on the show. And while he regularly makes reference to his wife Paige, she has decided to take a step back from the limelight, although their son has ocassionally made an appearance.

But those following Pete on social media were able to put a face to the name after he posted a selfie of them together back in October 2020. Sat in her arms, the pair are seen smiling for the camera as he captioned the snap saying: "My Mrs and best mate what more could I ask for, don’t worry @sophiesandiford1 you are a close second best friend."

A year after the picture was taken, Pete and Paige tied the knot and welcomed their first child named Jimmy. And by 2022, during an episode of the show, Pete announced they were expecting a second child, who was born in June the following year. And once again, Pete showcased his little bundle of joy as he called out to his sister: "Sophie, did I tell you Eva’s full name? She’s going to be Eva Sylvie Sandiford.” Sophie responded: "I love it!”

Another well known face to fans is Baasit Siddiqui who usually films with his brother and father. But Baasit is in fact married and has been for ten years. The couple also share two children together, Amelia and Theo. Baasit's wife is called Melissa and she has never been interested in sitting alongside her in-laws as they critique a week's round-up of TV programmes.

In 2022, Baasit shared a rarely seen picture of his family as they marked their wedding anniversary. In a social media post, Baasit wrote: "Happy ten year anniversary to the most amazing wife, mummy, friend and soul mate. The last ten years have been full of laughter, love and adventure. Thank you so much @melissasiddiqui for everything that you do.If I spent the next ten years explaining how much you mean to me, it still wouldn’t be enough. Love you."

Izzi and her sister Ellie are by far one of the most loved stars on the show due to their quick wit and hilarious commentary. And while the pair often talk about their partners, viewers are often left wondering what they look like. However in 2022, Izzi shared a rare family picture of her looking glam in a pink lace dress as she posed .alongside her boyfriend Grant and their two children, Bobby and Bessie.

Ellie's Warner's boyfriend Nat

Unlike Izzy's boyfriend, Nat doesn't appear to mind being pictured on social media and has also made a few guest appearance's on the Channel 4 show. But in 2022, tragedy struck after Nat was involved in a near fatal car accident which left him with a broken neck and back and two collapsed lungs. At the time he needed life support. After making a full recovery it emerged the couple were expecting their first child together, who they named Ezra and was born in June 2023.
